I know he is not trying to duplicate his dad's voice. He can;t. But in the chorus, there are moments which he sounds a whole lot like his father. I think hit is great he is helping to keep his fathers legacy alive.
Thank you so much for posting this! I saw him the next night at the Keswick outside of Philly. Jim was our hometown guy, and we also claim AJ, who lived in now-suburban Chester County as a little guy. Love to both of them and to Mom, Ingrid. Did Ingrid come on stage to sing background vocals in NY on Leroy Brown as she did here? Really, I should have brought more tissues.
Thank you so much for posting this. I saw him the next night in the Philly burbs. Jim is from here, so we claim AJ, as a native son, also. AJ is such an incredible talent. Did his mom, Ingrid, come out and sing background vocals on Leroy Brown in NY, also?
I am so glad he is performing, has regained his sight and is sharing his talent with us. Thank you and God Bless you AJ!
Good to see AJ rose from his unfortunate childhood experience. All the best to the Croce's.
I love, love, love this song. ❤❤❤❤❤

Sounds so much like Jim Croce, what a beautiful tribute ❤
Great rendition of the original.
