I'll save you from potential damage to the clip. The tab of the clip you pushed forward- slide it toward the driver seat while you lift the knob up. You can use your fingernail- no screwdriver needed. Then the new knob will just snap non- you don't need to do anything with the clip. You can also do it while in Park. Great choice of the Pro knob though 👍
Bryan, your way WAS way easier. I was struggling his way to release existing pin with screwdriver. Your tip was spot on, no screwdriver needed, finger easily pushed driver side of clip and knob very easily came off, and new one just popped on with pin in place, easy peasy
@@GearheadJT I got the TRD Pro it came with a OEM bed mat, and rock sliders standard. From what I see the US trucks dont get that. And also I got 3 year free trial subscrition for Remote connect, Safety connect, and Drive connect. I also hear you dont get any of that in the USA. Above all of that dealers selling new vechicles over MSRP is illegal in Canada, so I paid MSRP for my truck meanwhile I see TRD Pros selling with 25K-30K markup in the US!
@@GearheadJT The non-TRD Offroad trucks doesn't have the crawl/mts button. Only the TRD-4x4Offroad version have that button. Check out auto trader and find some examples.
I would like to see you add the amber LED lights to your Toyota Heritage grill. And if you are bored, add the amber LED lights to the fenders. After watching your videos I might save myself a lot of money and buy an SR5 and just make it look like a TRD Pro.
It’s your truck bro. I love that you are putting the things on it that you like.

Did it this way and made it a breeze
That's how the TRD OR/Sport comes in Canada. I wish they did the same in the US. Good to see it's a simple swap out.
Yeah, it’s interesting how Canadian models at times get better accessories from OE’s

TRD models in the US get better wheels than Canada too 😢
Very cool, thx. Just ordered mine yesterday. This helps 🙏🏻
How about TRD start stop button and the crawl control knob
The push start button should be available shortly, I'm not sure about the craw control knob, thought it as the same.
