It would be great if the solid walls of the closed gosun camp 365 were also solar panela, able to recharge the electric car pulling it.
🤣😂🤣Solar panels aren’t efficient enough to do that. Plus electric vehicles do more environmental harm than ICE vehicles.
Right off the start, I see a problem with the set-up, you have to walk on the outside of the door in order to set up the first wall!
This is my new favorite gut no bs
I'm not a fan of pop ups but I see the point in overall the design. I do question the cooler behind the power box with outlets facing up though. Seems like a good way to drip into an expensive electronic item.
What a neat idea...buuuuuut..at $34k.....ooooof....
Love the concept. Larger fridge and battery unit would be nice and worth the extra expense.
This retails for 35k. Cool but not worth that much
35k? Wow!!!! Definitely outta my price range. Pitching a $300-$500 tent on a flat bed trailer after arriving at a campsite would be somewhat similar and much cheaper.
i thought the same.
see i’ve already “bugged” out….
i have every need met, i think this marketed at consumers, not adventurers , consumers dont want to learn how to meet their needs, i think here is like a basic assessment of the needs and how to meet those needs; yet the design is not realistic. first the water tanks; there’s not a “hose” everywhere…. so what would be the method at that point? a jerry can?? one by one? 25gallons? 4 6gal cans? i have six cans rn and dont have anywhere to put them in my camper they live outside luckily im not on the road and just offgrid; next i could really improve the solar system w my knowledge of amp draw vs amp hr. next the most expensive item in the camper is that air conditioner- lol its not worth 35k for an air conditioned tent- take that out- that is marketed at the soft underbelly of the consumer- anyone whose been off grid isn’t out there for cushy- contention w the environment is the biggest obstacle yes, but if you’re going for this price point you should of used something that breathes better than canvas or designed better ventilation, kodiak tents use a triangle shaped window in the corners as well as the main doors and windows; canvas is terrible in the summer unless it rains; if you would of sought something like teslas boxbl folding design instead of the canvas i could see the price; next where is the stove? bro i make coffee every morning and turn on the heater; i just think you’re marketing this as a solution when it’s not its overpriced but on top of that; you could convert a bus or a reg camper easier and cheaper; ive always wanted an overlanding teardrop though; w an outdoor kitchen and shower; but i live offgrid i seldom have enough water to take a reg shower; how man gal per min does your shower use btw? id take that out and completely rethink your water storage system… i love the concept but you may of spent to much on unnecessary appliances and forgot to include real essentials; as far as the solar price point; because what you have included im sure you valued those components at what $1500-2000 ; i have built a much better system for far less. if you dont listen to anything else ive said, know this, in the time travelers guide to the galaxy, the meaning of life was revealed as 42; a symbol of efficiency; the entire universe operates on efficiency, as soon as you operate out of that balance; you fail to grasp the meaning of life.
Thank you for this comment and saving me the time I would’ve wasted watching this video!
Für denn Europäischen Markt bestimmt sehr gut.
Da muß es nich Bärensicher sein.
Aber denn Preis denn ich hier gelesen habe😮
👋God old Germany
What I want to know is during windy conditions does that material flap in the wind and make tons of noise?
I love the interior living space height. I just wish it had a toilet and shower for my wife. She isn’t as outdoorsy as me so she needs some glamping gear to be happy.
Hi mixflip, the Camp 365 actually does come with both a shower and toilet! You can check out the full list of accessories on our website: gosun.co/products/camp365
Compliments on such a well filmed and edited the video. I really like this pop-up trailer and think the price is fair. If I were towing it with a truck I would bring along extra panels to extend the table and deck space as well to bring a good size mattress to put inside. Perhaps part two of this design could be a list of recommendations of what the people could bring whether they’re towing it with a wagon, SUV, pick up etc. overall I think it’s great design, well thought out and reminds me of the old tent cabins.
I’m curious if you have a schedule of events where you will be exhibiting this trailer. Perhaps at RV shows or campground rallies? I’m sure if I buy one I will be towing it in a small pick up truck or a Subaru outback. I’ve traveled with the show cars before so I know That having one of these in a campground it would be a conversation piece and sometimes annoying with everyone having honest-to-goodness questions about it. I guess if I own one I would probably become a sales rep on the side. Being bilingual I’m sure I can bring a variety of buyers, though I’d really like to stop working in my retirement.
Best wishes to the designers & thinkers/builders of this cool camp trailer!
curious because I've been considering it for a long time.... is it possible to live in something like this? and if so, where would you park it? does it recycle water at all or do you have to refill it often? thanks! looks cool
So , is there a chance these were tested to be bear proof ?? Cos , if not , I will stick with hard sided small , trailers instead .
If you’re worried about things being bear proof, I suggest staying in hotels, and there’s some new concept is called Airbnb, you might want to check that out ha ha ha
everything is great except that fridge is way too small. And it would be nice if they had more storage underneath.
I NEED THIS IS MY LIFE!!!
$500 deposit; custom made to order $34,250 fully kitted out with solar appliances gosun.co/products/camp365
What is that air conditioner? I’m looking for super efficient ones for my motorhome
Camp365 range between $17,995 and $24,995. 😧 won’t need the ac , batteries, cooler ,solar, water heater ,wonder how much it is a empty out trailer 🤷♂️ but that would be fun to go camping but would it hold up to Extreme weather like Arizona 110-130degree weather bake
WOW! Well thought out.
Uh not at all. Set up time takes away from vacation time. This company won’t be around very long.
A good begining. at 35K ...nope.
You've got to tow it though.. If you can tow that you can just tow a regular solid camper like the one this one is meant to imitate.
Yes. The larger Casita is nicer and enclosed. It does lack the storage space, however. But at least it's enclosed and no major set up/set down required.
Price is about the same (ish).
Any a/c?
How much Canadian?
Any info on the AC unit? Is that a GoSun product, where did you get it? Thanks
I'm a big Go Sun user, wish you guys came up with your own trailer that could also haul dirt bikes (electric).
Actually, the Camp365 can do that! th-cam.com/video/NncWWx9X5eQ/w-d-xo.html You'll just need to be careful about tongue weight and your vehicle's towing rating.
@@sarahkladstrup3048 that won't hold motocross bikes. My electric dirt bikes are battery based motocross bikes, so 180 pounds for mine and my son's Husqvarna EE 5 is 82 pounds.
A simple solution would be for you motorcycle owners to tow it with a pick up truck. When you get to camp, detach the trailer, add a ramp to the back of your truck and roll your motorcycles out. It’s not rocket science, luckily 😀
How does this compare to an A liner?
Not very well. The Aligner is a little smaller, has hard walls and a better bathroom.
Is there a customer service number to call when we need help? I haven't been successful at reaching anyone through the email system.
For $34,000 you could purchase a small piece of property and have enough left over for an RPod to take to the property. Gosun completely missed the mark here with the design, setup time and lots of pieces that can easily be lost making setup problematic. If this had been around in the 70’s or 80’s, it would have been cutting edge at that time. In todays times with the advancement of battery tech and builds for Sprinter vans, there’s less than 15min of setup time before you are relaxing on vacation. The Gosun is like setting up a giant tent- both set up and take down will take hours away from your vacation.
who can do repairs if their is an issue with the lithium ion battery or other parts?
I think the price point is going to turn many away when they can get a fiberglass camper with those amenities for less and still pull with smaller vehicles.
Some people actually prefer a pop-up trailer or fold out cabin like this. Small fiberglass trailers are great but they don’t breathe very well and have all kinds of problems
@@HunterMann I’ve heard the exact opposite of fiberglass trailers, sturdy, better on mileage, better on wear and tear and mold resistant etc.
I think the biggest selling point with this camper is its solar operated. Other campers need electricity or gas for generators. This one you don’t need anything but the sun.
@@AnnC3932
There is no way those provide enough energy to run the stuff you need. That and you can buy those same solar panels for about $700. There's also the fact that it says 365. As in days of the year. It's cloudy or rainy in half the country.
I was 1000% on board till I saw the price.
@@GoSunSolar idk, I've owned a grand designs 5th wheel for years that I got brand new that wasn't much more than this and it's 40 feet long. Granted, it's not anywhere near as equipped for off road use but it does have quartz counter tops, washer and dryer, fireplace and a queen size bed to name a few features.
I want to see that porta potty in action.
OMG please hire me to sell these, as many camping trips that my husband and i do we could totally sell alot of these...
Check their ambassador option on the website. I plan to become a Gosun ambassador. / Anders Hasselroth
Obviously not a cold weather camper
I never trust a setup video that has lots of edits. Means it’s not as easy as they say.
$29,000+ those needs to sell for less then $5000.00
Way to inflated for what it is. That kind of money, I'd buy a regular camper
Rather that, then a tent.
so $29.750 /£ 23.436 .gonna take a lot of camping to get your monies worth , just not a viable choice for those who would really use it to its full potential . going to end up a rich mans extra toy.
I feel like this was a clever idea on paper but not in execution, not trying to be mean, but This is like having a tent that is not so portable. There's no real security from crazies in the woods or animals for that matter. If I must tow something I would just buy one of those ultra-lite pod type units which has a real sink, shower, and toilet. The sink seems like something a kid might have in their playhouse. I don't mean to insult anyone these are just constructive criticisms. We have all seen the home made off-grid builds from utility trailers that are being towed by small 4- and 6-cylinder vehicles and they have all the goodies, and most are built relatively affordably. I am not sure where this fits in the market place, like why not just buy a tent, that powerpack can be bought anywhere. It's like the designers were like, let's gather all of this stuff from Amazon then build a rolling tent and shove this stiff in some pockets. Like not really well thought out.
If this is going to an RV park that has toilet facilities and there's only two people, it could work as a weekend toy. Mentioning SHTF and this as a solution doesn't really work for me. i don't think this would hold up under hail or strong winds. The overall idea is cool- I do think they may be on the right track in areas, but I'd say more testing is needed.
I wont buy anything thats not bear proof and that includes a tent .I grew up in bear cpuntry and a hungry bear that smells food can and will drag U out of a tent .
@@rubygreen158 facts not to mention all of the crazies walking around out there.
@@jeremypilot1015 , yup and that 2 . lots of weirdos around .It's not like it used to be anymore .
A simple solution to bears and weirdos if you simply dig a deep trench all the way around your campsite and fill it with water.
Too bad it doesn’t fit in a garage . Y’all
Shoido
Make one to fit in a standard garage And srill
Stand up
It's a tent.
Wait. A tent/camper to fit 4 adults, with a sink smaller than in my bathroom, and a "fridge" smaller than my Eskie cooler?
For $35,000???
Not bear proof
Cannot sustain comfortable Temps very long
Nowhere to haul furnishings for it
Does not withstand high desert winds
Outrageously expensive tent trailer
I would not recommend going camping in this to sleep in. I don't care how strong that fabric material is. Anything that can be cut with a knife while you sleep are not real walls to me.
You guys did an amazing job and so well thought of on every detail! Hopefully one day I will be able to purchase this outstanding setup!✨🥰☀️🏕️✨
Saw this on another channel. Thought, wow this is a really great idea. Then I looked up the price… if it were about half of what dealers are asking I would be interested.
LOL. Exactly what I was thinking. I haven't looked up the price, but I'm figuring 100k.
36k still way to much.@sgt.pepper4274
