Sir since oxygen is more electronegative in case of phenol so due to inductive effect shouldn't it attracts electron towards itself..why it is donating electrons in resonating structure?

Sir, carboxylic acids is more acidic due to high electronegative property of oxyzen.and in 1st case in alcohols oxygen only carries electron then why alcohols are less acidic in nature?
