Tracks vs Tires On John Deere Combine

We've had tracks for a couple of years now. So what's better, tracks or tires?

How about durability? I wonder how well they wear versus tires and also the cost difference if you were to buy new tracks versus 4 new tires? I'm guessing you don't keep them long enough to have experience with this.
And - above I am just thinking about replacing the tracks. I wonder if the other 5 rollers wear out.
Also - general question - is road travel hard on tires? Hard on tracks?

Crown of the road can cause some tire wear. Our 2013 8360R is still on it's original tires. Front starting to wear a little faster from running over stubble in no till. Rears pretty good.

I used to hate tracks on everything. Then I sat in a quadtrac and an 8rt for a season.

Any inner wear on the tracks due to camber on roads
We suffer badly in the uk with inner half of the track as we have quite a crest down the centre of our back roads

I'm sure after a few seasons it might t start to show wear like that. Happens to tires too.

One brand new combine at the time I made the video tracks cost about $90,000 more than tires.

Maybe overnight during harvest but generally not for long stretches.
