- I give you 8 possible solutions how to fix an iPhone SE that has camera issues (front or back camera) such as blurry, out of focus, error, is black, fuzzy or some other problems as well.
Make sure to follow each step and if you go through all the steps and it still does not work try every step 5 or 6 more times. Sometimes its a combo of methods that gets it working again as well. Most of you will have your camera back in order.

camera was blurry on back camera only; I did all the steps and the pressing and smacking fixed the problem perfectly! really wish that had been an earlier step so I didn't need to reset all my settings; but really appreciate this video. Thanks

Big thanks man. The "tapping" / pressure points around the camera lens got it working again. Camera had been replaced twice by repairshop but it must be loose connection.

Thanks so much. U r so thorough. It was the tapping that made it work. It must be too much stuff in my purse that squeezed the phone. It’s weird that I can’t hold the home phone and power off together to restart the phone.

@@youssefsaighi4781 I realized that it’s a bad mounting. After changing the screen it start to happen. People say that it’s the cable . Like it’s not in the right position. I hope it was helpful somehow 👍

I fixed the camera by … 1) smashing my phone with an 8 pound sledge hammer 2) throwing phone in the trash 3) ordering a new phone 4) drinking a cold beer and two fingers of tequila. Thanks for a great video. ✌️
My front camera setting lets too much light in. When I open the camera and the front camera is deployed the entire image is is very grainy and has way too much light going into into it without even taking a picture. Is there a way I can permanently change the ambient light settings so the image on my front camera isn't all washed out?
Or at the very least set my back camera (which works just fine) as the default camera? I can't face time my family or take any pictures with the front cam. No one is able to see my image or the image is all washed out. Can you please give me some insight on how to fix this issue. Thank you very much!!!!
Having the exact same problem and can’t fix it. I look like I’m in fog when FaceTiming someone. Back camera is clear as can be. Hope someone can help us both.

Video kept going out of focus then off in about two seconds. Your third suggestion worked - holding camera icon while shutting iphone off. Your help video is excellent.
A tip for everyone, tapping against your palm on the top with the face down works the best
Frequently I'd tried tapping every angle but face down seems to work, albeit most likely a temporary solution
Didn't even watch the video, your tip worked perfectly. Camera's been stuck for the last few days and no matter how much I tossed it around and smacked it it didn't work. Couple gentle tabs on the palm against the speaker and it worked instantly.

Yes!!!!! I did all steps as per video and it didn’t work… was about to go through all again but read your comment for tapping facedown …. What I did was palm open as if spanking my phone “naughty phone!” And it worked!!!! Magic
1. Clean lense
2. Close camera app
3. Too lazy to explain 2:30
4. Force restart phone (Hold power button and home button until Apple logo)
5. Reset all settings from settings app. (DONT RESET ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS)
6. Settings -> privacy -> camera -> untoggle all apps -> Reset phone
When I press power button and home button my iPhone screenshot instead of restart the phone
What I do now?
"Tapping the iphone back to your palm several times helped me solve the problem".
In my case, I really think its the hardware issue as I have dropped my phone several times and once, even the screen had popped out.

good video, but didn't work for me - unfortunately. The selfie camera looks like some grime or dirt got in on the inside, and I can't do selfies or facetime - not where anything is actually visible anyway

Mine just fell on the floor and started working again. Then it stopped focusing once again
