This is something that I still don't understand. How come Nacho Bear is the only miniseries that can have a new 10 minute episode and not the rest of the series (like Calling Cat-22, The Talented Mr. Bixby, or even The Bremen Avenue Experience)? Why?
You know, that's a good question. I'm going to guess it's because Nacho Bear was the most popular out of all the CN Wedgies miniseries. It seems to be the one people remember the most. Here's a fun fact: at the time, there was a shallow rumor about Nacho Bear becoming a full series, and of course that didn't happen. However, I'm beginning to think the rumor was partially true. You see, this episode came out in 2010, whereas other episodes (and other CN Wedgies) came out in 2008. So maybe they were trying to greenlight the show to be a full series, and this is episode 1. Maybe they were working on episodes during the time, but ended up scrapping the show, and this is as far as they got. Not to mention this is roughly 5x the length of a standard Nacho Bear episode, which would make it a more suitable length for a standard tv episode. Just pop a couple of commercial in there, and bam, you have a 15-30 minute episode. Though, I wonder if it would've been a double episode format or a longer, single episode format.
@@aztechyena8159 Hmm... I see. Cause if all of that is true, they should've done the same thing with the rest of the series, seriously, I would love to see more of 'The Bremen Avenue Experience' if they make that too.
@@shonnaa7117 I agree! The Bremen Avenue Experience should have gotten the same treatment. Heck, CN should have let the viewers choose which miniseries became a full series-- kind of like what CN did in the early 2000s through special events called, Big Pick, where viewers would vote for their favorite short by calling in or voting online. This is how The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Codename: Kids Next Door became full series. I kind of miss that sort of interaction CN had with its viewers; now, they kind of work in secrecy and just put out what they think people want to watch. Yes, I'm still a bit salty that Kitty Bobo and Longhair and Doubledome didn't win lol, but hey... KND and TGAOBAM were outstanding cartoons, so I can't be mad. The part at 7:04 would make sense. I had suspected that the creators cut and rearranged parts from this long episode. That's why the sequence for other episodes that includes scenes from this long episode are not necessarily put in order or cut out entirely to make shorter episodes (that's actually quite clever).
