I’m due for a reread of loving Donovan because I read it so long ago but I remember loving it. I loved Parachutes. I’m trying to wait until we have a date for Parachute 3 before I pick up #2. I love Takerra Allen DOWN.
I'm still waiting on you to read queen of exile by Vanessa Riley. Loving Donovan sounds like a story that is typical of today's relationships. For a surprise book, you seemed to have really enjoyed it. ☺A piece of cake sounds like a lot to have happened to a person. And she still became a lawyer in the end? everything is indeed possible!
Chain gang all star is so triggering for me I can’t finish it just yet but I love it 😂 Update: just finished it last night and maybe because I have ADHD and my mind works like that but it was easy for me to follow what I wanted the question to was why would they let them out in to society or even if they would be able to function out in society after going through so much trauma. Living in an environment where everyone can kill you at anytime for 3 or more years changes anyone. Going back out into society would be nearly impossible. You would see threats at every corner. I wanted them to address this from the start of the book but I don’t think it was talked about enough. I loved the book but I didn’t feel empty at the end. 😂
That is true! It would have been an interesting perspective to get a scene with one of them who are free. I acknowledge that I am terrible at keeping up with multiple perspectives in books, especially if it is more than 4.
I've read "A Piece of Cake" years ago.. For awhile it was one of my favs. It was so inspiring.
Happy Reading 📖😊
great review. love Love Belvin.
Piece of Cake was so good I read it years ago and still think about that book from time to time.
Thanks for the video!

I am tempted to hop into Parachutes 2, because how is Takerra going to leave us hanging like that? 😂 I finished wondering wth is Dalvin mixed up in.
