Man that one portrait shot with the tunnel and the skyline was nice! Almost jumped out of bed and grabbed my 24mm. Art is at its best when it inspires. Real talk.
This is one of the most entertaining POV street photography video's I've seen in a while. Definitely gave me some inspirado to get out this weekend and shoot Tallahassee for my FIRST POV street photography video!
I have watched several of your videos since finding the channel a couple of weeks ago, this video has made me comment, absolutely stunning images in this video, the reflections are sublime 👏🏻👏🏻 A return to NYC is on our vacation list, our last visit was in 2009, if for nothing else to see the Freedom Tower and the area around ground zero, this video has just made this trip more important for us, thank you 🙏🙏
Well I’m happy you’ve enjoyed the content I really appreciate the kind words. The whole area around ground zero has really transformed over the years. They finally opened up the Greek Orthodox Church that was destroyed in 01.
I did similar walk with the 12-24mm forcing myself to only use 12mm. It's challenging and fun. It's important not to place anything of importance around the corners of the frame since it can warp/distort the subject too much. It would there be interesting to try a laowa lens that claims to have 0 distortion.
Great videos, Gave me some nice ideas for shots when i was in NY in September. Central Park is good area to do a video get some cool shots of the Ghostbusters building 55 Central Park West. Keep the videos coming👍
honestly it’s mostly to have a higher shutter speed with changing iso. but i’ve gotten a lot better with exposure since then. this video is over a year old i believe
@@PhotoTripps23 Well the results look great on my TV 👍🏻 I have recently started using auto ISO in manual mode on my Sony A7ii. Set your shutter and aperture, and the exposure compensation wheel effectively becomes an ISO wheel 😎
Yo! Loving your videos man! been following you for several weeks now and I think i've watched all your videos! I have family in New Jersey right outside the island and I travel there often. Would love to maybe shoot with you next time I'm down there, I think it would be a blast! I just bought some gear to start doing POV shooting videos when I'm out shooting so will be posting some similar content soon. Was thinking about kicking off with a what's in my bag lol
I'm a sunny day photographer, now I can't wait for it to rain so I can shoot in some puddles! 😄 Also that Freedom Tower entry way reminds me of the Milwaukee Art Museum.
I haven’t been to Milwaukee but I’m gonna have to check out some pictures. When the sun is hiding you gotta find new ways to create interesting compositions. Reflections change the game. I love a shooting in the rain it creates an interesting atmosphere in the images
@@PhotoTripps23 played around with my wide angle lens today. That thing is so difficult to adjust. Its either i get overexposed or under exposed alot. The light meter on my cam is not giving me the same gauge with my other lenses
Yes and no. I like having a shallow depth of field in my photos. When I’m at a low aperture I need to have a high shutter speed from letting in so much light into the lens

A very interesting and informative video, you have a great city landscape.
Thank you for this video. I enjoyed spending time looking through your lens. 😊
Reflection puddle shot looks sick!
Wonderful perspectives. I’d like to see you shoot in B & W too. Keep up the good work!
Excellent photos, you've got a great eye
I stay at that hotel whenever I go to NYC! Couldn't recommend it enough. Also amazing content, can't wait to go in 2 weeks.
Beautiful photos. You are very talented. Just came across your videos. Def will subscribe!
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻
Always look forward to your videos. You’re probably the best at it. Looking for another one I hope soon.

Thank you so much for the support
Good job dude.14mm looks sweet,a little wide for my taste. I’m more of a 50mm upwards.Keep the videos coming.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I don't know why you have few subscribers, wonderful channel! my friends here in Brazil love your content!

Great photos! Love the wide angle!
Crazyyyyy 🔥 keep up the great work man!
19:12 Have you tried including the leaves on the puddle to add context to the photo?
cool shots!
Love the wide angle shots! Nice POV as always mate!
The best photo in this video 21:59
Enjoying the video! Is there a reason you tend to shoot wide open (or close to) most of the time? Is it just to keep the ISO as low as possible??
honestly it’s mostly to have a higher shutter speed with changing iso. but i’ve gotten a lot better with exposure since then. this video is over a year old i believe

Thank you. Very inspiring. Do you like that wrist leash thing?
Yeah I enjoy having it’s just in case. I’ve never dropped my camera but you never know
@@PhotoTripps23 nice. Do you recall the name? I had a spinal cord injury and now I'm paranoid ab dropping my kit.
Well first and foremost I hope your doing alright. I got it from ukpg on Etsy they have straps

What kinda wrist strap is that?!? Im genuinely curious... Looks Sick
I honestly forgot the exact store but I bought it from some Etsy story that’s based in the UK
Cool video man do more videos by Times Square
I love New York
you are cool phoographer
Thank you 🫡
Setup the photowalk on a snowy day!
It’s hasn’t snowed in New York yet I’m waiting for the day to come
@@PhotoTripps23 funny enough its snowing in midtown right now doubt it’ll last though.
Well shit lol
@@PhotoTripps23 I work real close to Hudson Yards might walk over in a few if its still snowing to get a few pictures
Does a wide angle lens give a bokeh effect when put on the lowest aperture?
Yeah it does, depending on the how close your subject is
@@PhotoTripps23 played around with my wide angle lens today. That thing is so difficult to adjust. Its either i get overexposed or under exposed alot. The light meter on my cam is not giving me the same gauge with my other lenses
I guess the high shutter speed is to avoid camera shake.

No always manual
