The sizing is actually good on you so I wouldn't size down if I were you bc most of your clothes in your hauls do look a little too small. No shade girl I love you!
The clothes aren’t too big; they just fit you as opposed to most of the clothes you get that are unfortunately too small. The clothes aren’t intended to be super tight. Their style is more relaxed which is how they fit you

I definitely wouldn't size down. They actually look like they fit your body this time. They were way more flattering than normal (with the exception of the crop top lol).

I agree for sure I was so glad to see things with some room I've seen many comments on other videos she tugs and pulls at her clothes trying to constantly readjust them because when they are tight and she moves then they get out of place. I also agree regarding the crop tops. I don't have a flat stomach by any means even though I'm just regular size and I surely don't want stuff revealing every roll and lump. I had people seeing the bra fat roll on my back

As a plus size woman too, I have found that getting the larger end of my sizing ALWAYS is a better choice. When things are too tight i feel that it looks like I am trying too hard and sloppy. With that being said, I think that you can be OVERSIZED and it look like a sack. At the end of the day though, it really just matters what makes the person wearing it happy.

Don’t size down! Everything actually looks like it fits you. I think you just think everything is big because you’re used to how tight everything is that you normally wear.

Love Universal Standard.... their clothes fit Awesome!! Try the Mystery boxes....you can get some very good clothes/pieces for fantastic prices. Loved the haul...size down and you'll b"good to go!" Thought the shirts and jeans looked good.
I took a look at their website, and their prices really are that high, so hopefully they had a major sale When you bought these! They have "vanity sizing" and go from 4xs to 4xl. I'm usually a size 10 or medium, and according to their size chart I'm an XS. I do love how well made the pieces look, and the simple styling. I loved everything except the boyfriend jeans and crop top. I think you could definitely size down in the dress, but it's IN STYLE to wear oversized right now, lol.

I love the pink on you and the peachy dusk pinks, I love the sweatshirt dress, I might get that. Sizing is a personal thing, some people like it tighter, but I personally can't tolerate the feeling of tight. THought it all looked great on you, the crop top color is so your color IMHO I wonder if you could even keep/wear that one if you wore black bottoms that were very high, so it's not a peak aboo shirt. But you look so pretty in those pinks it might be worth it to see what you could do to even keep that top imho. THANKS FOR THE TRYON!! Going to check those clothes out!

Love that light purple top, that looks so nice on you and very classy like you said :) I think you can totally rock that crop tee on top of a sleeveless maxi dress and it would look really cute or use it as a cover up over a bathing suit in the summer if you want to protect your shoulders from the sun for a bit and i like that color on you!!! I love their sweatshirt dresses- they are so comfy with leggings and the black one you got is perfect because it will go with everything.

Jean's in US, I am a 34. I get the high rise skinny 23 inseam. We have very similar body shape. Dont give up on them yet. Lol. Would love to see you try Copper union and Altar both from Orgeon (sustainable).

Yes, you could size down for the bottoms and sweatshirt dress, or, keep the sweatshirt dress for something with an oversize fit - how often do we plus size ladies get to sport that roomy fit? It has a good cut. If you roll up the sleeves a bit you could wear it to work, because the cut is elegant, imo.

crops can be tricky some fit right length others not so much ,,Awesome I did not know this company carried jeans! I thought just T-Shirt material clothing ! I'm not a brown person BUT THIS shade of brown I LOVE! OMG Yeah shirts I'd take in if they're linen like!! Crop definatly be a bed or around the house item! LOVE the Sweatshirt dress! OH MAn !! I'd wear it with leggings and also to bed around the house.. Be my go to for sure!! As for the jeans and blush colored shirt.. PERFECT!! ONCE you WASH EVERYTHING not knowing the clothes etc.. MIGHT be good for 1st time you ordered as you did also!! NOW the tops SKIM over what you are always mentioning you want to cover!! SKIM instead of SHOW!! Kandy this size looks amazing on you!! I had same issues with TORRId BUT NOW I found I NEED their 6X or maybe, depends on style, material their 5X.. Sad but seems every company is off/all over size wise!! Another company I tried by reading, looking at styles.. material made out of.. I ordered biggest they had a 3 or 4.... and WOW when they arrived! I was SHOCKED they FIT!! (( Fashion to Fit ) I saw this company on another influencer's page and thought well..Hmm.. but she looks so much smaller than me.. I relate to you !! OMG!! I HAVE to check this site out! Hearing you speak of all inclusive!! ABOUT FREAKIN TIME!! Oh BTW I too have to take waists in also I find if I go to the BACK and do a small seam on both sides about the pockets it works great!! NOW length.. I have to cut a foot and a half to nothing on every pair of jeans!! I DO like ELLOS Jeans!! They have one style with snaps hidden on waistband.. BUT when I sit or bend one side always unsnaps.. BUT overall I find ELLOS were made for me. PRICES! Sign up for both.. get coupons for sure! Same with ALL clothing it seems! ThankYou for this share! Hi Kandy, so good to see a video from you. We worry when we don't see you for a while, because you said you were having a few health issues. Never heard of this company before, but as a plus sized woman, I'll definitely check them out. It's a bonus that they represent diversity, and the world needs more of that. The shirts all looked good on you, and yes, the crop was too short, but the color was on point. So many other ways you can wear it without baring skin. The sizes looked flattering on you. I personally would rather wear something with a little wiggle jiggle room, as opposed to something too tight and showing all my rolls (and I have more rolls than a bread truck lol). Just my opinion. Those shorts though, no way girl, you could get lost in those lol like the Bermuda triangle hahaha. Anyway, great to see you, you rock as always. Have a great weekend. I'm wanting to order a few things from Universal Standard, good to know about their sizing. I looked at the charts but really needed to see the clothes on someone close to my size and height to get an idea.
I had to look up Cupro fabric. It's OK. It's an engineered semi-natural fiber, a kind of rayon or viscose or tencel. Very silk-like in feel and drape but more breathable than polyester. Not terribly durable. Fragile when wet, so wash it carefully. Not really environmentally friendly. It can be made with recycled cotton tee shirts but requires lots of chemicals to produce. Would definitely make a comfy pajama top.
I like the linen shorts, finding anything linen in a super plus size for less than $100 is near impossible nowadays. I'd definitely take them in, they'll feel amazing in the middle of summer. I like the sweatshirt dress too, I'd wear it with leggings for a casual look. The tops were "meh". Too wide and too short. The shirred neck one would work well with a suit. The contrast one with office casual. If the pants just need tapering and hemming I'd go get them altered. With what you ended up paying for Universal Standard quality clothing, it justifies spending a bit more on alterations.

My friends and I are all US size 10 , we eat clean & exercise for health reasons . ( us size 10 is a size 14 in the uk and the most common uk size ), when I went to America I was craving healthy food with all the fast food crap everywhere , never had fruit and veg or unprocessed food the whole time I was there ! However I did notice your food is more expensive overall ! . I also think the clothes are overpriced and have a lot less style than what we have on offer .The pink top looks the best on you .
Actually, the most common U.K. size is a 16 (US 12). I rarely go into shops where sizes 16-22 are on the shelves, they fly off pretty quickly. My brother moved from the U.K. to the states (San Diego) & hasn’t had any issues with food, I’m not sure where you went where you couldn’t find healthy foods? They sell them in grocery stores, packs of salads, ready made fruits, sandwiches etc just like they sell here. They also have burrito places where you can buy burrito bowls, & just have rice / beans / vegetables & forego the meat.
Fruits & vegetables are disgustingly priced in the US, we’re incredibly fortunate here in the U.K. to be able to eat such a wide variety of food on a budget. However, they now have Aldi’s popping up everywhere in the states making it more affordable & accessible for people on different budgets which is fantastic to see.
You literally could have walked into ANY grocery store and bought fresh produce. A lot of places offer fruit cups or side salads instead of fries or chips. That’s honestly on you for not looking hard enough or simply asking. And there are healthier restaurants here. It may take you an extra 3-5 minutes of looking but they are there. I take it you’re a capable adult and can come up with solutions instead of choosing to act like a victim who had no control of their diet while on vacation far away. It’s kinda annoying.

I do get your view point , we where travelling an didnt know the area so we didnt have time as there was a group of us and just had to stop wherever , anyway I stayed away from fries etc and ate small portions and didnt gain weight as after a few days of it I was sick of the large portions and it put me off, . We also have American relatives that say exactly the same they where not used to chicken on the bone as all the chicken they got was processed and veg out of a tin , its good now they are getting Aldi for cheaper healthy foods. I like you will have an opinion I will voice just like you so please respect others views , just because its not the same as yours does not mean it is wrong , its simply what I found while I was there .
You obviously must have been staying in a fruit and veggie free state 🤓🤓 I lived in Florida for 8 years ( I’m a Brit) and I could buy fresh fruit, salad and veg in any grocery store 😱
