I am definitely not addicted to Vtubers and Hololive or anything like that. I can quit anytime, trust me. But first, just one more clip...

This stream is on March 12 2024 btw
Never in my life had I thought a Gomoku competition will get 200k+ concurrent viewers.
It had higher numbers than the main channel new year concert and stuff
@@rektl2036 It didn't??? Gomoku peaked at 254.4k, the new year concert peaked at 339.9k. Last year's countdown peaked at 273.1k (source VStats). Also worth noting that the concert was being mirrored in multiple watchalong streams, and differently from Twitch, TH-cam only counts as views if it's the active tab, so the actual views are higher and impossible to accurately measure. (watchalongs like those are still a likely positive on the long run even if they cannibalize views shorterm, because they promote a feedback-loop in the Holo-ecosystem promoting holo channels among holo watchers)
Also, my comment is in no way an attempt to diminish Mikochi's huge achievements. I'm just trying to correct that wrong claim that it had higher numbers than the NY concert. If anything though, I'm fully convinced Mikochi will be able to surpass 2023-24 numbers this year, she's been on such an amazing upward trend with each event she organizes, truly the most Elite of elites.
same its higher than Mikorone iirc.
@@rektl2036 No Holo New Year Countdown had more it had 300k+ cc
2500k+
All worth it Mikochi! We had a fantastic year and Mikkorone 24 + Gomoku Narabe to open the new year was a great success.
Gomoku was really nice and I'm sure it wasn't that much expensive either, a really good idea all around, it's stuff like minecraft and gta events that cost a lot (not even talking about idol events)
@@AB-dd4jz Yeah the animation in particular for her originals songs cost a lot. And for HoloGTA, I noticed a lot of beautiful illustrations for the tags, etc. But I have no idea how much that cost.
This is a last year stream
it's actual more tax advantage to deduct salary instead of paying upfront. Since the former count as company expense (deductible), while the later is after tax money. So in a way she actually have to pay less tax money for the same spent. Not to mention deferred payment might put in a lower tax bracket.
Bro is already at the peak and never stopping on going up by spending all of her money on future projects. We dont deserve Miko. She is now my #1 Vtuber.
I love these girls man.
The amount of time, money and effort they give just to make their fans happy is really selfless❤
Like damn. Even marine.she said she used up 3 months of her salary when she made her recent songs and their upcoming mvs
Wow I wonder what all she has in the works.
That’s pretty crazy thpugh
This stream was 9 months ago so most probably it's everything she did last year
I had to check that as well. TL really should have put the date in the thumbnail and subtitles. Even if unintended it's really misleading.
I mean this is an old stream and she released a buttload of MVs prior and after her first concert (plus illustrations + advertisement and merch) so I'd argue it was money very well spent.
This is from months ago and when the girls say they used up their salary on a project, it's most likely on songs and Miko released a number of original songs with animated MVs around that time.
Towa said on her stream, song covers cost around 500k Yen (~3k usd) and they can't monetize it. An original song with full MV though, just an estimation from how much anime episodes cost to make, can't be any lower than 1.5 million Yen (10k usd).
@@seijiyamamura5 this translator always done that, he put super fast "timing of stream" on the right corner to mislead people.
It's probably about the MVs she released last year before her sololive, a year ago Okayu said the same thing about going without pay for a month because of those MVs
I used to think that management invested the money in these projects, but now I understand how it works. It's basically like a classic idol
There're two kinds of projects: Project by management (example is new year countdown concert) & project by talents (example is Mikorone). Project by management will be paid by management, talent project will be paid by talent
lol "but now I understand how it works" when he clearly did not
