I like your in-depth technical review at the end, with the updates on the inverter. This alone makes you and your videos, super. Keep up the great work!
Given your skills, I would ask for a replacement inverter. Install it, then run a complete second set of tests on the same machine. Should make a good second video!
It was requested and denied unfortunately. Even though I can tear it down on a nearly cellular level (I tease) and reassemble without issue, they said they can't send it out. irritating.
Great video as always! It would be neat if you started and kept an excel sheet of all your sound testing for all units tested, and use that chart for all videos going forward, so not only would you be comparing to 1 other machine, but all others tested.
I actually have that sheet :) I was thinking of doing a mid year review of the generators I kept and am keeping / post comparisons on sound output and also output power and such. Just an idea right now.
I have never had one gummed up on the gas side and then see if it runs on the propane side. Interesting thought though. Knowing how most of the carbs work on propane, my thought is that it would work but that would of course have to be tested.
Stupid question if you parallel link 2 generators together do they need to be the same wattage? Asking for a friend lol. Also your hard bilt gen review was fantastic. Definitely learning lots, i look forward to your future reviews.
They do not need to be the same wattage. They both do need to be inverter generators | pure sinewave. An example, if you have an 1800W generator and a 4000w generator in parallel, you would not be able to exceed the lowest rated generators output x2. In this example, the pair could do 3600w ish... (not 5800W)
There are so many pros and cons to propane. Many parrot what they hear online (I admit, even I did sometimes before I started using propane / dual fuel generators). The simple fact is, these small engines will give exceptional and more reliable life on propane in general. Carbs will not gum up, exhaust stays clean, spark arrestors stay clean... A win in most cases. The technical side says it can be harder on the engine from the engine having to work harder (propane produces less power) and also from higher EGT's which can be harder on valves and valve seats. Again - technical reasons. Have I ever seen damage to a small generator that was specifically caused by propane use? I have not personally. So I chose to not worry about it.
The WEN DF360iX would best this generator in power output. Weight and size wise, it is larger and around 15lbs heavier. The WEN is more in the league of the GD400BN and HMT4300iD besting the GD400BN in features (not power) and a cheaper option than the HMT4300iD. Not sure if the WEN has an iron sleeve / bore or aluminum. I know the HMT does have iron sleeve which keeps it my favorite choice.
My favorite dual fuel right now is the this unit amzn.to/3x7gHU1 It would be a perfect match for your single 15k. Next favorite is the this pulsar amzn.to/3xfUhQo I feel the extra features of the Heomaito are worth it for about $100 more. It is a really good runner.
@@MR_Garage I have a 24 ft trailer with a single 15K AC. The difference between the HEOMAITO 4300 and the Pulsar 4000 is now $200. Would you still recommend the HEOMAITO 4300 for my RV at that price difference?
You can pick up this generator here: amzn.to/3WsiQnf

I appreciate that!

Question. Do you know if it will still run on propane even If the gas side of it fails from old gas? gummed up carb. Ethanol etc.

@MR_Garage that's great information. Thank you
I just found your channel, and you may have addressed this in another video, but does propane wear an engine more than gasoline?

@@MR_Garage I thought there might be considerations that I didn't know about. Thank you for explaining your experiences.
Wonder how the Wen 3600 would compare?

In your opinion what is the best dual fuel generator for a 30ft travel trailers?
Do you have dual AC units?
@@MR_Garage no single 15000 a/c
