What ride do you use? I know it's an APX but what kind is it? I have a 22" APX Solid Ride and I love the sound of it but that might be because it's the only one I have ever used. So I just want to know your opinions on it, whether or not you think there could be a better sounding one.
Looks like an extra hi-hat. Some drummers put things like a permanently closed hi-hat in there kit so they can have that sound and still play double bass. He might have a 2nd in that spot for kit mobility though, since it looks and sounds like an open hi-hat.
