I am new driver and I am driving DAF when I am trying to lift an axle even when unladen it comes back down once I start driving, but it only happens in the 15 plate trucks. In the 19 plate or 21 it works perfectly fine. Wish AC was better. Only option to drive in summer time is with the windows open which increases fuel consumption comparing to driving with AC. Perhaps AC needs refueling, but I have driven at least 20 different daf trucks and all of them had really bad AC.
When my Dad began driving Tipper trucks in the late 1960's - a heater was "an extra". LOL
