On the one hand it makes you wonder at the cruelty of humans to let a dog get in that condition. And then on the second hand it really warms your heart to see how kind & loving Mila & Monique are and how that love has given this this dog it's life back

It breaks my heart what these poor dogs go threw on a daily basis just for being pitbulls, they’re sooo misunderstood, I wish more people would take a chance on them. This is what my pit baby looked like when i finally got her back from my ex, who stole her. She was starved and left outside for months. Someone finally called and told me where she was and what was going on with her. They told me the ex was gone, and I went and got her. I don't even know how the tears continued through those first few weeks. She lived an amazing life filled with love and food. The gentlest dog I have ever owned.
God bless y’all for showing him the first love he’s probably ever known. You saved his life and he’s aware of that.

My Marvin Gator was in the same shape when I adopted him. He was the sweetest most loving baby you could ever imagine. After being tied up and left to starve it amazed me how much love he gave to everyone. Unfortunately he developed pancreatitis from being starved which later led to diabetes, I lost him when he was twelve, way too early, but he had a happy life once he got here and was a healthy 85 lb. Boxer/Am Staffie mix, once I got him home and months of a proper diet. Love you GatorBoy.

Thank you so very very much for giving Chance a second chance at a great life. He has found his loving forever home. And please don’t forget to give him lots and lots of belly rubs.
When I rescued my Sadie Mae, (literally from the street), and took her to the vet, he told us that she was only a few weeks old. (She still had baby doggo breath!)
She acted sick and the vet told us she had eaten rat poison because she had been so hungry.💔💔💔
He said if she survived for 2 days, she would make a full recovery. Thankfully she did. She grew up to be a big beautiful and loving girl, topping out at almost 60#.
She’ll be 15 in October!
That makes her like 82-83 in hooman years!❤❤❤

After the little girl describes why Chance is funny, I had to say, “yup! They are pretty great!” My daughter has a dog that looks just like him, and he is exactly like this dog! He also eats things, that make him feel sick, altho he may have learned his lesson because it hasn’t happened in a long time.
