Brilliant idea for a video! Helped make my decision easier.

    Hello.
I have the Burley Coho XC too.
I have done long routes and with a lot of added weight, about 23 kg. If the load is well distributed it does not dance laterally.
Downhill you have to be careful with the weight you carry and the speed. You have to dedicate time so that you can adapt to the car.
You must think that in the downhills the bike and the car are like a rigid block.
The next trip that I will do with the trailer will be almost 2000 km, From Switzerland to Santiago de Compostela. Greetings 👍

    Thank you for the video.
Just a quick question. How is the trailer on the downhill.
    thank you

I have made some videos showing different loading schemes going down a steep hill in the "BIKE TRAILERS" playlist. We don't have a lot of long descending roads around here.
When going down the steep hill it is harder to maintain control especially if the load is placed higher up and closer to the rear of the trailer.

Yikes, that trailer can take a beating! I have this model, but I never put it through this type of abuse.

I have taken it off road quite a lot and overloaded it in other videos. I damaged the yoke when trying to pull 200 lbs. but then just bent the yoke back into place and still use it. I Have not replaced any parts.
