We've stayed twice over the past 2 years, we went back primarily for the top notch breakfast buffet. This was also one of the resorts decimated by the tsunami of 2004, under different ownership back then. There's a memorial to all those who perished a short drive inland.
Sounds you really enjoy the resort. The breakfast is amazing with the variety. We didn’t have enough time to discover the area much as we only stayed for 3 nights.

Stayed here last November brilliant hotel and fantastic beach not to crowded.
Have booked again for Feb 2025.
