No problem. If you want a real dash cam one that has all the goodies I wouldn't go for this. What I did here is I had an old dash camera window mount that has the standard camera tripod screw in. I had the roam upside down with the lenses turned so it would be right side up. It really does work well like that. You can place the suction cup mount behind the rear view mirror though depending how the mount you buy is it will be sticking down some not too far though plus the cam is small.
Being that is is just a helmet camera you do have to delete the video. I have a 32GB Micro SD in it as storage and the battery lasts about 4 hours and within those 4 hours fills up maybe half the card. I basically just use this setup when I go on trips being it doesn't have basic dash cam functions.

how does memory work on this? do you have to manually erase as soon as it gets full? or can you set it up to just record over the older stuff?
