Hello po sir. Dahil po sa channel nyo nagkaroon ng laman ang brain cells ko. Wala po kasi akong naturunan nong senior high ko bilang abm kaya ngayong college hirap na hirap po akong intindihin mga lessons sa accounting. Thank you po dahil sa mga video nyo madami akong natutunan. Now inaaral ko bawat financial statement for my reporting. At isa isa ko pong pinapanood mga video nyo mula statement of financial position to cash flow na oo ako. Napaka helpful po ng channel nyo at ang galing nyo pong magturo. Goodwill is considered an intangible asset but is an exemption to the rule being identifiable, since, as we know, its unidentifiable.
If you are being asked of the total amount of intangible assets, you may still include it. However, for purposes of reporting, goodwill can be presented as a separate line item so that the total line items for Intangible assets are the ones that are only “identifiable.”
I hope this explanation makes it clear.
