I had thought I was going to buy a totally different set of monitors before the demo, but the Amphion's where by far the best in my room!! Even with each pair of speakers being separately calibrated with the Trinnov, they all sounded quite different from each other.
This is so true. We had a similar experience with our EX Machina monitors. Was only after we were able to demo them in our room, we could hear just how good they are. I've always found SX pro go above and beyond when finding you the right speakers for your room and requirements. They took us down to the PMC showroom for an atmos demonstration. Which really helped us make the right choice for our atmos system. Can totally relate to this video. Dale knows his stuff when it comes to speakers. At no point will you feel you're being sold a pair of speakers. You feel you are working as a team to get the best speakers for your room and budget. Highly recommend this approach if you are in the market for new speakers.
I have to echo the comments here. I had a great experience with SX Pro also demoing a few sets of monitors and also ended up with a different set to what I thought beforehand. I’ll probably be looking to upgrade again in the near future and will be putting a call into the guys again. You can tell they care as well as they brought a Trinnov with them! Ps…. That’s a serious set of monitors you tested there. Was it the One 18 or 15 you went with? And what about them made you choose them? Also which pair did you think you were going to opt for beforehand? I went for the Two18 & Two 25 System. On paper I thought I was likely to end up with the Ex Machina Quasars. They were great but just not as controlled in my room. The Amphion's seemed to require a lot less heavy lifting from the Trinnov to deliver a flat response. They are truly remarkable speakers! But speaker choice is subjective and such a personal choice. Which is why these sort of demos are so important to making an informed decision thats right for you.
I wish we had this level of service in Australia! I also am using the Two18’s and love them, wondering how much the bass system changes to overall picture? Whether it’s worth adding them, unfortunately we cannot try them here as there are non available as a test pair.
My favorite is PMC 6.2 this monitor sound incredible good❤ 😱 the low end is so amazing and have massive punch!👊💥 and stereo image very good and detail.. Is a littel f.... ing Beast!😂

They are incredibly and massively improve the sound of the whole system. Don't even hesitate, buy them.
