I’m so jealous man. I can’t grow baby broccoli down here in Louisiana, no matter when I plant it, it bolts. And you cabbage looks awesome, I’d cook a big batch of cabbage & sausage (and of course cornbread) and eat off it all week. 👍🏻
Never thought to blanch cabbage. I know when I've froze some before it smelled awful thawing. How do you use yours. As a side or in a recipe with other ingredients? I'm hoping to make sauerkraut. There's a good recipe for it at black gumbo. The broccoli. Wow. Last night I harvested ours because it started to show a yellow flower and also noticed one had a tiny green worm. Was just about to decide not to grow broccoli anymore. Then we cooked it. My husband wasn't hungry. Hah! But it was so delicious he ate half of the bowl .. Left me 'some'. 😅 Guess next year we dedicating a new area to broccoli. I try to eat fresh as much as possible but would like to know what you think of your frozen meals when you do them. 😊
