FYI for people wondering why the game's this slow; I'm 24 minutes into watching this video and he still hasn't realized that the second generator crank is what actually activates the passive generation. You know, the one he pulled on once and stated "meh, this probably doesn't do anything" xD
then again his reading comprehension sometimes just goes negative. like the 4th note on the computer is rather clear, look at the empty space above my area for a secret but he never attempts to scan the outside of the entire hallway, only focusing inside part. the fact he found the one next to the disk print is dumb luck due placement of it.
I think I only have 1-2 incremental games on my to-do list, but after that I'll likely stop covering them for a little while. Or I'll go mad and make one of my own.
@@wanderbots You always cover amazingly interesting incrementals, I usually buy them, then the devs abandon them. So i don't doubt that you would make something amazing.
One of the more unique games in general i've seen. taking such a pretty simple genre and turing it into something weird, interesting, and annoying. It's great
not entirely sure what the art style is called, but there is something always morbidly satisfying with low poly aesthetics in horror games edit: you said low poly five seconds after typing this comment XD
Fascinated by the potential here for tinkering with the machine to achieve different goals- like with the pressurized door here. Hoping the final game plays more with that. Bitburner is a game that I feel scratched a bit of the same itch- though it's definitely aimed at actual programmers. Curious if that's the idle game you were alluding to at the end there, or if there's something else I need to check out.
@@ZuitLabs Played both that one and Bitburner. The Farmer Was Replaced is very basic on the programming side, the only more advanced thing that comes to mind was writing an algorithm for traversing the maze, but I suck at algorithms so.... Cool way to combine 2 concepts though.
He never figures out what the pressure lever on the generator does lmao but in the end it didnt really matter. he found a different way to make more pressure
I was able to cofigure the generator so it take 0 power. And the juggler so it gives 5 power instead of coins as well as pressure. I had my generator at 100 constantly
Wanderbots is the better version of the steam discovery queue.
You can not change my mind.
It is a thing that if you make a game that is similar to what Wanderbots covers, you have to make sure it appeals to Wanderbots.

Well, I'm 60 minutes in and he still hasn't figured it out.
I will say that wasn't the best.. instruction regarding that though it can be inferred.
The second crank on the generator normalizes the pressure to 0 on the scale from -100 to 100. We find this out at 6:12
he keeps playing with it for like a half a second, we see it move a fraction, and then he stops
incremental. Ty for immersing yourself again in incremental games. Remember not to play too much as it will be very exhausting. Have a nice day

I really, really hope you find the time to try your hand at it. I'm intrigued to hear what new insights you'll gain after.

You that leaver that seem to do nothing on top of the generator needs to be pump multiple of times in order to increase the pressure.
A combination lock set to 19, 84, and (4)51, huh? I see what you're doing game.
Did Wander have to take a Voight-Kampff test to get the demo to run?
👀
I think this would be interesting as a 2-3 player co-op, maybe with some weird gremlin/goblin avatars
Oh man, that sounds chaotic on the best way
very much my type of aesthetic, multiplayer is such a hassle though

Uncanny Valley doing its job on full display?
The developer of this game is an incredible person and very kind! It was an honor to playtest, amazing work zuit ❤️
real?

so what i think the clock does is make the ticks/min go faster, so mp per min should rise.
existential horror incremental game?
so just universal paper clips?
jk this game looks really cool
This looks like a good fit for VR tbh...
Can we get another video on this?
When it's out!
He never figures out what the pressure lever on the generator does lmao but in the end it didnt really matter. he found a different way to make more pressure
you are now my go to guy when i'm itching to play incremental games. no idea how you find all of these gems
Semi awesome/ horrifying upgrade: mix with the orb of creation!

Dishwasher simulator is a weird incremental game with some extra complexity with the automation aspect and horror
Wanderbots, the only other person I know who understands the true pleasure of number goes up.
Love the videos on incremental games.
Someone put this thumbnail in the Louvre
TARDIS Simulator.
What is the "programming incremental game" you told about near the end of video? Thanks
I wonder if he knows if the time clock looking thing does anything when he clicks it, I can't remember if he asked that question or not
Think this isn't for my level of patience; doesn't seem to be a lot of game in this video game, mostly just theme.
Bro just didn’t try to overcharge the generator
I still dont understand what incremental means
I think that's not a horror game I think ?
wow that was good
Is this management simulator 20000
What the hell was that
weird game
thank you
🤌🤌🤌
...and that's fun?
Somehow, yes. Especially once I got the ability to tweak how each machine worked, that was actually really cool.
It kind of works as a critique of pointless tasks, while actually managing to get more interesting as you get further into it.
Interesting thought.
