Class act!!! Was unlucky in the first week losing a bit of time behind a crash, pulled it back big time and put the top three under serious pressure. Was fantastic to watch . 🇮🇪

Isn't it amazing how many top class Irish sportspeople have come from Cork over the years? The rest of the country really does owe Cork a lot of gratitude for this

Eddie was last man standing on the toughest climbs with Roglic 3 x time Vielta winner, 2nd Tour de France and now Giro, and Thomas TDF winner. An outstanding performance considering only second grand tour and broken hand. To me Eddie looks like the next best climber we've had after Stephen Roche, which speaks volumes. ☘️🇮🇪🚴‍♂️💚🚴‍♂️🇮🇪☘️
