- The Invention Studio is student-run design-build-play space open to all Georgia Tech students. It is staffed by the Undergraduate Lab Instructors, student volunteers who are always on hand to train you and help with your projects. Location
The Studio is on the second floor of the Manufacturing Related Disciplines Complex (MRDC).

if only this space existed when I was at Tech...
i'm sorry but at this time the invention studio is only for all current GT students, faculty, and staff. The capstone sponsors want visibility with this group and the technology fee funds are paid by current students.
What about Georgia Tech Alumni? Do Georgia Tech Alumni have access to this facility for free as well?
And I'm not there .... :(

On the other hand, there is a new 80,000 square foot invention and fabrication space in Atlanta for people who pay for a membership.
"My Inventor Club" is a project led by Shane Matthews and Lonnie Johnson
