Hey, could you please do a video on grace? In afrikaans, we have "genade" which translates to mercy and grace. Mercy being not receiving what we do deserve, and Grace being receiving what we do deserve/"unmerited favour". But ive recently discovered (and the Bible is so full of this, i just havent seen it this way yet) that grace is also "divine empowerment"; the revelation of whatever i am doing is completely from God’s might. Could you possibly go into some scriptures for this aswell?
Great question, thank you for asking it. God's word says people will think the Bible is foolish until God opens the eyes of their heart up to see it and him for what they truly are. Until then, we speak the truth in love, knowing God's word NEVER returns voids - what they do or don't believe doesn't dictate what is true, nor somehow thwart his plan ☺️
Isaiah 44:6 6 "This is what the LORD says- Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God. Isaiah 9:6 King James Version 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is 6 given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Hebrews 1:8-12 8 But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. No one else in HISTORY before biblical times had such a title....... The phrase "King of kings and Lord of lords" is used twice in the book of Revelation to describe Jesus when he returns to earth. In Revelation 19:16, the verse reads, "And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." The verse continues, "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God."

I don’t think that the Word of God says anywhere, “ Give your life to Jesus.” The Lord said, BELIEVE ON HIM WHO HE HAS SENT. ..John 6:29. Christ has accomplished our salvation. We only need to believe in Christ! What a wonderful, all sufficient SAVIOR! If a person thinks he must somehow give his life to Jesus, he will be left forever wondering if he actually did that right.
Hi! Thank you for the comment. Some verses that may help clarify where I'm coming from are... "O LORD, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God!" - Psalms 25:1 "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" - Romans 10:9-10 "So brothers and sisters, since God has shown us great mercy, I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him" - Romans 12:19
@@joshuasethmorgan the last verse you mentioned is actually Romans 12:1, and Paul is speaking to those who have already been saved. Presenting our bodies to Christ as a living sacrifice is about knowing Christ in our daily walk as believers; it is not a requirement for salvation. Christ is all sufficient for our salvation. For our salvation, We are only asked to BELIEVE in HIM. If people think there is more than that that we must do for our salvation, we may always be doubting that we are saved. First Christ accomplished our salvation in full. Then we are encouraged as saved ones to boldly go forward in His love, mercy and Grace. Salvation is all of Christ.
@@cynthiab3548Without CONFESSION, we have NOTHİNG. As a Bible student I am sure you are familiar with Romans 10:9-10, "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Dare we overlook this? Faith speaks. Always. Mental assent finds itself quite at home in comfortable silence. 🙂
If you follow Jesus Christ with all your heart and soul, trust His holy message of salvation, and believe that only He saves, you have already given your life to Him. He is the Savior! Amen and Alleluia forever and ever!
Who are you, Dr. Josh Morgan? Are you secular? A pastor? a minister? A priest? A brother of an Order? I am only asking because many TH-camrs are preaching, and I did not see at least a cross behind you. Thank you greatly! God bless you!
Hi! I’m a Jesus follower and have been a pastor for years. No, no crosses behind me - I actually don’t think I own any. But it’s the Holy Bible on my desk I’m reading out of. I own several of those 😊
You need to read other verses from the Bible...those that require confession, repentance, baptism, walking in a new life demonstrating your faith in HIM.
Love this approach! Gets the person involved. And there is no pressure.
Yes! Makes it so much more of an enjoyable experience. Thank you 😊

One problem, some people do not believe the Bible, they think it is fairy tales, so what then do you do?
