I both like and dislike SSS. The stat stacking mechanic is fun but the rewards are just too low and its just the same thing over and over again like Annihalation (Anni has auto skip tokens why don't they add it to SSS and incentivise them to complete event/other gamemode stages to get them?) Not to mention it essentially is just an entire series of DPS and operator checks. With Walter in global now we can basically just nuke the first few levels of most stage themes. Overall a fun gamemode the first time you play but it gets tiring since players are forced to play it if they want to farm for modules outside of waiting for events. Not to mention events are way generous with the module resources.
SSS suffer from them just trying out to create some new game mode but they have 0 idea how to tie it into the core gameplay loop so they just throw the extra data blocks into them that become excessive to the point the mode has no real reward to offer outside doing it for the seasonal mat quests and medals. Playing it atm is like beating IS4 then going back to IS2, the mode feels too incomplete and lame while being too easy for the current day meta. So just like what they did to RA, I hope they come back to SSS later and make it a proper card game type of mode with stage + buff + equipment selection and an actual reward seasonal shop. It is a fun system but abandoned before it can refined to be better. Give it a proper draft mode where it isn't as easy to slot in 20 char of who you want but have to go through random set of archetype/roletag/DPcost and after that, you just get plopped into a map with 5 area just like an Openworld game and each area can have 6 stages like it currently does with different restriction and bonuses so you can't just DPS rush it with a hyper scaling attack speed character like GG because we might run into a boss who has Sadlock type of punishment for Hitcount so you want to stack the atk% on a high attack char instead to minimize that. When you beat one of them, the other areas get boosted so the order you tackle them depends on what deck you drafted and what equipment you pick up mid-run and if you beat all 5 stages, you are guaranteed a full set of reward for the season in 1 go or can just replay 1 area and restart to farm reward in a more casual manner.
I think the thing that prevents me from playing SSS is ironically the secret medals. The idea of restarting the entire run just totally discourages me from playing if I can't clear a stage lol/
What a coincidence. I just played this mode and this video is on my YT feed lmao! Just started playing early this year. As soon as I could play this mode, I played it. However, the lack of ops (and skill issue) made me unable to clear stage 6. The fact that I didn't have a single good sniper nor caster hurt. I left it saying it was kinda fun but I wasn't ready. Went back to this today with a better understanding of the mode (and more built chars) and actually had real fun with it. Didn't feel that rewarding tho tbh. Wish I got lmd at least. Oh well. I see myself playing this once in a while but for now, I'm really enjoying Phantom IS so idk when would I play it again. (Tbh I only keep playing IS for lmd. XD)
@@Ripperdingo69 actually 🤓 We just need the module block every updated map the rest is history... Like seriously HG, we need module data block farm stages rather than module part I mean I have 1500 part and 500 advanced part.😑
I keep on going until I beat each map with each squad (and get both secret medals....but that ends up happening pretty quickly) don't even have Goldenglow, but I do enjoy the creativity of the bosses and how they have unique mechanics
If it was harder and gave better resources, for example module data blocks. It would feel much better to play the game mode but as it is now it just doesn't feel all that worth the time to play it unless you really need the resources it currently gives
Just put gg skill 3 with 3 sniper+2caster buff And u done with this mode 🗿 Maybe put some blocker maybe defender heal for heal and prevent ground enemies

Simple answer no. I pretty much farm it if I desperately want the module for said operator and it's usually module sticks that are scarce.
