Just had whipped Feta for the first time at The Informalist in Eau Claire, WI and I’m hooked. They garnished with olive oil, heirloom, cherry tomatoes, and crushed pistachios (light on the pistachio dust) and I don’t think I’ll ever eat it any other way now. Making this tonight for my girl !!!
Thank you Dimitra. I do enjoy your recipes. Don't be thrown by my last name, I am Greek on my mother's side. I enjoy cooking Greek food and you are my go to person. Again Thanks
just loved this! I had a jar in the fridge of sheep/goat feta marinated in olive oil with peppercorns/spices. So I was looking for dip recipes and this fit my ingredient list perfectly. Aside from economics, this was so complex, satisfying, not too heavy, fresh tasting and easy! I rarely make greek food or even dips, this is a true keeper! For toppings I used olive oil, msg, and olives. I am purposely buying another jar of that marinated feta, and some good oily black greek olives. I think this is a new obsession. Watch out, calories, here I come!!!
I tried it and it was fabulous. I also added a little more olive oil and thinned it out. I used it as a salad dressing and everybody went mad over this. Thanks Dimitra ❤
Great dish Dimitra! That reminds me of what I ate for breakfast during my study abroad year in Lebanon. That’s what and how they eat ! Quite shocking for a Nordic like myself but I ended up loving it! The Phoenicians of Lebanon transformed the Minoan civilization of Crete and they brought their know how to Greece and the Mediterranean, starting with the Alphabet and the name of our continent Europe. Princess Europe was Phoenician ( from the very ancient city of Sidon.) Many of the Greek cheeses like Feta and Manouri, Halloumi aren’t Greek or Turkish, they are actually Aramaic words from the ancient language of the Phoenicians and also Christ!
TY sweet Dimitroula mou! I am gonna definitely make this whipped feta dip. I love this. I only can get combined sheep and goats milk feta where I live if that's ok.

I just made this.. Wow ❣😋👍🏻 Love it Soo Much !! Can't Believe I Haven't Made This Sooner !! Definitely will be making this as a staple. Especially for Greek Style Loaded Potatoes. Yummo !!❣😋👍🏻
Suas receitas são muito boas, mas seria possível colocar a lista de ingredientes em Português do Brasil 🇧🇷?????? Isto seria muito interessante Dimitra para facilitar o nosso entendimento. Muito obrigada 🌼
Did you add a Non-Fat, Zero Fat, or reduced Fat Greek Yoghurt? Non Fat yoghurts usually have runny consistency and aren't as firm. Alternatively, you could just use a full fat regular yoghurt instead of Greek yoghurt and add a spoon or two of cream cheese.

Love it. I'll make this up and take it to my sister's house for lunch this weekend. Thank you 😁

Can I add cilantro or green onions to the dip?
I wonder if I could sub the yogurt for homemade kefir 🤔. Only one way to find out!
where do i get the olive oil
What can I do to keep this from liquefying?
can you do some Skordialia or something similar?
YUM! CAN'T WAIT! 🥰

Mmmmm! Another excuse for eating more feta!
You had me at Κρήτη
Just made this with exact measurements but mine came out soooo watery and runny. It was a sauce, not a dip. Idk what went wrong

Also if you had it in brine, possibly draining the brine with some paper towel could help

😮😮😮💗💗💗
Mine ended up like a drink, I think I went too far with the yoghurt 🤔
