God I remember hearing Joe’s cover right at the peak of my Tally Hall phase, and the start of my Bowie phase. Tally Hall was my absolute favourite band- it like took over my life. And now it’s the opposite way around. I’m EXTREMEELYYYY deep into my Bowie phase right now like IF SOMEONE ASKED ME ABT IT ID BE TALKING FOR 5 DAYS STRAIGHT. Anyways basically this cover is so weirdly nostalgic to me. I don’t agree with Joe’s actions, don’t even like the guy tbh but something abt this cover GETS ME

This was a while ago so I forgot what exactly I did, but I tried my best retuning the eq, trying to get the guitar to not only sound better but pop more, a little itty bitty amount of reverb, compression, and uhhhhhh. stuff i forgot
