First heard about this hotel from your review. Very helpful review. We stayed at the Swan Reserve for one night - July 2023 - The hotel room was clean and bright. Had an excellent view of the Disney fireworks. Restaurant was expensive. Bed was comfortable (although the pillows sucked). Overall it was a great stay.
Hi Josh. First time viewer. Enjoyed your comprehensive look at this hotel. I started staying at the Dolphin in 2007 for the annual IBM Software Conference. Attended 7 conferences, and learned to really like the Dolphin. I love its location, close to Crescent Lake, Epcot, Boardwalk - all of which I enjoy being in. Before I retired (03-09-2018), I traveled a good bit for 9+ years. I always stayed at a Marriott (or Sheraton, which became Marriott). I was lifetime Gold when I retired, but after the merger - they gave me lifetime Titanium. So, when I go to the Dolphin, I normally get a nice upgrade to a balcony room overlooking Crescent Lake and Epcot. They twice gave us one of the Presidental Suites! Having said this, I watched them building the Swan Reserve and wondered how it would turn out (haven't been back to Disney since Feb. 2020). So, I appreciate your good video tour. Questions: 1. Breakfast Buffet You mentioned a $15 upcharge. Does that mean the cost of the buffet was $15 or a standard charge + $15? 2. Vue As a lifetime Titanium, would I have access to this area? I know that at full-service Marriotts, I always had access to the Concierge Louge with its "view" (if one existed) and free food. Thanks!
Thank you for the kind feedback! The $15 up charge is if you want the full buffet. If you want only continental breakfast it’s included for two guests if you choose as you’re welcome gift for platinum, and higher members. The VUE is not a club lounge as the property does not have one. It is by invite only to view fireworks at night. It is not automatically included a staff member has to invite you to the viewing from what I’ve been told.
@@gogotravelwithjosh overall, your review was accurate. Lovely staff, great rooms with awesome views and really nice access to amenities. Breakfast was filling but the credit didn’t apply to my status level ( Gold ) so the buffet was a little steep, but restaurant opened before magic hours and I was satisfied until around 1pm for lunch. My only criticism was that it took my waiter 10 mins to get my drink ( sparking water ) but for the incredible value and experience- I won’t nitpick. Would absolutely be my first choice if I ever go back to disneyworld. Thanks for helping me pick the right resort for us !

Yes, at the time that is where we ate breakfast last summer when we were there. You can always call hotel for clarification.
