He deserves it. He forced her to marry to keep job. He bullied her relentlessly. Was never satisfied or happy with her. Was always jealous and took it out on her. She just wanted him to say he loved her and be kind to her,but he couldn't.
So he didn't force her to marry him to keep her job. She wanted to marry him but he didn't want to marry her. He tried to get out of the marriage by refusing multiple times. But when giving in to his family she said it was to keep her job. Easier than saying "I have been in love with you for 5 years"
Yes he does absolutely bully her which is unfair but this is an issue of communicate on both their sides. Alot of his actions were under the premises that she was only contracted to marry him and that she had no feelings for him which is why he didn't consider he feelings when dealing with situations or his ex.
Its why he is so confused about the divorce because he has thought she only married him to keep her job and due to pressure from the families.
I will say however his bullying behavior is the cause of her lack of communication. Like his friend says "you did not make her feel secure enough to tell you how she felt"
Well, although his wife made it clear that she wants a divorce he just stays there playing basketball (okay, I understand that it's a quite good stress relief and he's under the pressure now but anyway) doing hardly anything until he is informed that she indeed has resigned. Only thing he said to oppose to her decision was that their marriage contract hasn't expired yet, not a single word that even without a contract he would like to have her on his side. In that situation it was only right decision to pull completely out of his life.
Please tell me he's not this stupid to think she wants a divorce because of her feelings. He doesn't think it's about his actions? Someone needs to slap him upside the head it might make his brain start working. He has been sniffing up the butt after the ex to please her, he knows what her and her father has done but he keeps being so good to her while treating his wife like trash. He knows the ex wants him back is he so stupid to believe that she won't use dirty tricks to cause trouble between him and his wife? He's not as smart as everyone believes he is. The number of calls she made to him the day she was attacked should have been a clue, he should have at least thought about the fact that the ex did this to herself when she let the steam burn her. He could have told her to call a taxi to go to the hospital herself. Then tells the ex that he doesn't know why she wants a divorce when everyone else in the company knows what she is and can see what she's been doing.
@@joycehawks8987 so I mentioned this somewhere else, but the reason for his actions is rather explainable. Not excusable but there is a simple explanation.
He misunderstood Lu Li's feelings for him. Remember she has not admitted to being in love with him. His understanding of their relationship is. "She married me to keep her job" he is looking at things from a logical standpoint. "Lu Li does not love me, so long as I keep to the deal and remain faithful to the marriage the rest is unimportant and she won't care who I am talking to or what's going on"
He also has no reason to believe that Li Man is doing anything shady no one mentions it. He was also VERY clear with her that they were not getting back together and drew a boundary.
The whole story comes down to a lack of communication Lu Li failed to communicate her true feelings, as did Yicheng. Yicheng also failed to communicate what was going on and clarify things for Lu Li this was because he believed she would not care.
Moral of the story communication is important
@@cardnial2770 yes communication is very important. But somewhere he had to know she loved him. She did all these things for him. When they went out to eat he followed the ex and told her to stay at the table then she goes out and what does she see the ex hugging him and he wasn't pushing her away. Only after she left and his friend kept telling him to listen with his heart and he told him on the basketball court that the accident wasn't just a normal one. Actions speak a lot louder than words. You can tell someone you love them but until you show it the words are not believed. She fixed his favorite food even though she was allergic. The friend had to say something about her being allergic after he was feeding them to her she showed her love by taking that chance of eating them. He told the ex they weren't getting back together but his actions wasn't saying that. He jumped at every thing she wanted. Everyone in the company knew what she was doing even his mama told him to stay away from her. But he didn't listen to anything. Only after she left did he decide he wanted to show his feelings. Words a lot of times don't come out right. But all of her actions toward him showed her love. He could have told the ex to call a taxi or one of her associates to take her to the hospital. Even after he found out all she had done he let her off. She put his wife down every chance she got in front of him and he never said anything. I understand what you said but there was to many places that she was showing him her love.
Yet another show where, the male lead treats the woman as complete trash and I can guarantee she will get back with him,more in love then ever. Just once,ONCE,I wish they would walk away from the jerk and never look back!
I fully agree. Same scenario. Different actors.
The writers make these women out to be weak and can't live without a man. This man is one of the worst he flirts around with his ex girlfriend berates his wife in front of her. Jumps and runs to her everything she calls without question. He doesn't investigate anything that happened until after she left him. For once I wish the writers would write women to be in strong and lead roles not the little woman that stays at Homan and depends on a man.

Instead of being at the basketball court I would be working on finding out why she's leaving me and stop getting so defensive when someone brings up how he treats the ex. With that many people saying something about how he's treating the ex. Instead of getting hostel at them start thinking about what they trying to get him to see. All he can say is the contract, he doesn't think he's done anything wrong. He still is so arrogant to believe he's done nothing wrong.
