The son of Barry asked a good question about if our eyes are full of light, if our focus is toward light, so is our perception. And Barry talked about eyes gates, ears gates, thoughs gates , about not wanting to drink filthy water etc...
Not only Barry teaches about Grace, he also teaches us to grow in virtues, to focus on the things of God to have the correct perception in life in order to live an abundant life that Jesus wants to give to us.
I like Barry and his son. They are kind, smart , joyful and humble. I like to hear about both: Grace and virtues because we have to be partakers of the divine nature of God.
I feel happy and encouraged by Barry's sermons. Thank you for your kindness and humility and knowledge, brother Barry. We are blessed by your sermons..God bless you and your family.

It is in the time spent, as have you so perfectly shared, that the enormity of "Father 's love and our relationship with Him" best explodes into an ever ending line of communication,. I speak of this "literally". It is so beyond what we do, it is always and eternally about knowing Father. Ya know....Father God Almighty so loved the world that He sent his only begotten son , that whosoever shall believe on Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life....His word is true, study church, study always for His word is true, even if you have need of making every man a liar, do not crawl out of the Word, ever! Again Barry, I loved this, bless you, I pray no less than Father's best to abound and saturate your world in ways you can but imagine in Jesus mighty name my brother, you are truly a brilliant light in this day, but of course you were hand picked by Father to be just that! Blessings !!

This is my answer for the question before the last question:" I know the revelation of God to know what to do. But in the heat of the moment, I act according to my flesh?". I just paraphrase.
Well, this situation happens to me all the time. A,l my life, I act out of ego, fear, anger, selfishness until l I get sick, my relationships with my loved ones get conflicted, my life filled with loneliness, sadness, poverty etc.. then I have to force myself to change: to pray to God, to act in Spirit, to depend on Him, to obey Him by loving and forgiving myself and others seventy times seven and let God show me the way. His thoughts and His ways are higher than ours. Not by my might nor my power, but by the Spirit of God. I keep praying, reciting the verses in the Bible instead of sending anger, bad thoughts to the other persons, instead of creating fear, confusion etc...in me. Then miracles happen. God will send some signs that change my negative emotions, my perception.
All in all, i focus on the love and wisdom of God.
I do not send negative thoughts to the other person I am in conflict with. "Do not rely on your own understanding, but in ALL your ways, acknowledge God, and He will direct your path."
Cast all our care on God. Obey His royal law of love and He will renew our mind and transform our heart.
Focus on the loving God instead if the negative situation, then see the victory that God bring to us.

People often stop themselves in 'embracing' the goodness of God at the point where it feels good and convenient and not going further however we should embrace the goodness of God until His goodness produces FEAR OF GOD in our lives as being stated in Hosea 3:5b , "They will come trembling to the LORD and to his goodness in the last days" , and Jeremiah 33:9b "They will tremble in awe because of all the goodness and prosperity I will provide it." It startled me when the first time i realized this truth , that new covenant fear of God is based on embracing His goodness and His character as the Blesser / Rewarder ( Hebrews 11 :6b ) instead of 'worrying' for His punishment or even calamities that allegedly tolerated by God . In fact worrying and negative thinking are symptomps of NOT FEARING God bcoz genuine fear of God is both based and projected on God's character as the Blesser/ Rewarder.
God bless your teaching. But because you just mentioned the word luck, I had to comment. Believers should never say wish me luck. Christians are not lucky. They are blessed.

Blessings to you :) I once heard that for the Lord's Prayer, Jesus started with "Our Father Who Is in Heaven" with the words "who is in heaven' helps one to draw close to Father God separating him from an earthly father, which made the difference for me.
