I like all the videos very much for the combination of your husband's good humor, with the images, photographs and music; as well as the reflections that the Camino inspires you. However, the final part of this day with the visit to the cathedral, the gardens and the music that accompanies it, is an inspiration for the soul. Buen Camino.
Hello Pilgrims,.. beautifully done video, inside and outside the Gaudi Church and the cathedral across from it. What a nice music with your video,peaceful and cheerful. Remember it all the wonderful memories , like scratching my head, .. to cross of 15/20 feet of train tracks , you have to walk 200 metres to get to the other side. 😂. Astorga is a great town! I walked up from Madrid earlier this year, and then along the camino frances from Sahagun. In Astorga, I was surprised to see this new bridge over the railroad tracks, but trains do come through there pretty fast. I don't think that it was there when I passed through Astorga back in 2016. The cathedral is well worth a visit.
At 9:58 - as others have commented - Just lovely footage of Gaudi Palace and Cathedral. I have not seen the "Drinking Fountain" in action before - So Kudos!!! Nice
Yes! I remember that we passed you guys on the street downhill from the drinking statue. You must have missed the funniest sign on the Camino that was on a lamp post immediately after that weird green bridge that said: “That was f$cking dumb”. We laughed all day. Thanks guys!
Haha, too bad we missed the sign!! Right as we were getting off that green bridge, we saw a local man cross the tracks on a dirt path. We laughed realizing we could've avoided that bridge 🤣 but then we would've missed the experience. Too bad I didn't catch you guys on my video. Did you stay in Astorga that night?
@@wedofly1998 Yes I stayed there that night. About 14 of us ate and partied at an outdoor restaurant in one of The piazzos. We had to say goodbye to a German friend who had to go back home for a job. We had a lot of fun but there were tears saying goodbye.

Those scarfs look very useful. Is that something you bought there or here on the US? You are really helping us plan our Camino for 2023.
We bought the scarfs off of Amazon, they were super useful. Buen Camino on your 2023 journey!!

@@tomlucas4788 if you look up desert scarf on Amazon you should see them there. We got ours awhile back but it should still be available.
