    Please help. Want to purchase the correct tools. Watched videos dark shirts white speedball ink where you really need to do a print, let it dry, then do another print so you get crisp lines and the white is completely white without any of the t-shirt color seen through. Hence I figure you need this hinged secreenprint frame so it can be lifted up, allowed to dry, and do again for bold color and crisp lines. What I cannot figure out is to keep it from moving if the shirt is laid out. So I am thinking I need to clamp it to a surface. What clamps would I use and bigger concern, how do I load the tshirt as it seems it would be bulky at the top when using clamps?? I cannot find a video that addresses this. I can't afford a t-shirt screen printing machine. Are there any options?

      You may purchase the frame separately or get our Advanced All In One Kit. That should have all the tools you would need! Securing the frame to a surface such as a table or desk is a great idea!

    How should i store and care for my screen after use, if i want to keep the exposed screen?

      we usually store our screens in a climate controlled environment without a great deal of exposure to moisture. most of our images have been kept for years this way and still print beautifully!

    Do you need a drill to put in the bolts

    • @speedball_art

      A drill is not required; we typically use a standard screwdriver at demos and events, but a drill would be a great way to go as well!

    how do you work with a photograph that is not all black?

    • @speedball_art
      @speedball_art  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      in order to have a successful exposure, we'd recommend the image be reworked to produce a rich black line that is opaque. if there is any grey present, it will likely not expose well

      absolutely! if you are printing on textiles, we'd recommend our Fabric Screen Printing Ink, but all the preparation steps for the screen are the very same

    What type of light bulb has been used to harden the emulsion?

    • @speedball_art
      @speedball_art  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video features a 250W BBA Photoflood bulb, but we also have a new LED lamp that would be fantastic for use to expose the screen

      Yes, he does. This tattoo is a tribute to Brian's father -- and you're right -- he's an amazing talent in front of the camera. Who doesn't want to print with Brian?!
