No, the Mole has no flight capabilities. which seems to be a requirement for a Thunderbird designation. However; there is a Thunderbird 6 it is an old-fashioned Sophwood camel Biplane used by International Rescue during a mission to an inflight dirigible "Skyship One" in an episode named "Thunderbird 6" (I have the disk). Arguably; after the destruction of FAB 1 which occurred in the previously mentioned episode. Its replacement; FAB 2 had flight capabilities & can be considered Thunderbird 7 but only the Tracys can get away with calling it that without pissing "Lady P" off. It is I understand equipped with either an autopilot or remote pilot system as Parker for all his many skills & talents is not a Pilot. FAB2, unfortunately, is not very fast in the air due to its big flat nose. Another of the FAB's is destroyed in the live-action film so we must assume that several were produced against the probability of that possibility. Fully Articulate Broadcast.

That was something that I always wondered about, even as a child. It made the mole rather unconvincing to me.
