I've had anxiety and depression for around 18 years. I am terrified of going to work. I will definitely buy the book as I'm desperate to get better. I've tried therapy several times and I totally agree about counselling just dragging things up and leaving open wounds. Since I've started looking at spiritual videos law attraction included I've already noticed a shift in the way I'm thinking. I'm starting to realise that the things I expect to be too difficult. The ones I panic about aren't nearly as bad as I think that they are going to be.
I was a therapist for 12 years and also had major depression. I stopped being a therapist and taught the law of attraction and now I don't have depression. lol I agree with you.
God that's interesting. I do think parts therapy/IFS seems incredibly helpful & can tie in nicely with LOA because you are establishing that adult calm part/true self whilst healing your terrified child part/emotions/subconscious and getting them to link ...but the one time I paid for therapy it took them ages to start bringing this in properly by which time I'd had to leave. It's only since then that Ive come across it myself and do the therapy myself! Meanwhile I find LOA/Assumption is also the best and most effective part for me 👍❤
I used to struggle with anxiety and depression too. In my mind at the time I thought that what would “cure me” was a friend. I didn’t feel as though I couldn’t connect and I just wanted someone that would break this wall between me and the world. Obviously, that friend didn’t come but I started to analyze myself and not put any labels just see what were my struggles and try to overcome them one by one. Guess what? Once I pulled myself out of that emotional hole, I manifested an awesome friend into my life 😊 I really resonated with your words. Thank you
Hello I’m abi and I’m 16. This video is going to be the change in my life that I need. I’m sat here now worrying about my life without my mum (who has terminal cancer) but she’s still here and fighting! I need to get out of this depression and state of mind because before I know she will be gone! I can’t walk away from this! I’m going to be happy and take back over my mind. @@milenamurray7642 I accepted my anxiety. Because it is caused by fear based thinking. I had to decide that when I became anxious I would say "okay this is making me anxious but that's okay." Therefore telling my brain that anxiety isn't something to fear. As far as specific actions or situations that cause anxiety it would be good to face them if just for small amounts of time until you feel comfortable. All the while accepting that it's ok to be anxious. Ideally eventually you wont respond with anxiety. Hope this helps!♥️

Everything you said also relates to the book called 'The Anxiety Cure' and a neuroscientist says there would have been warning signs we ignore and then your body finally screams at you in the form of a panic attack until you pay attention (the job you hated and the relationship you hated). For most of us, panic attacks are not a chemical reaction, it's how we've wired our brains to constantly search for negatives like you said! I'm so glad you posted this video - I definitely feel like there is hope :-)
this is literally just what I needed! this whole time Iv been manifesting this soulmate and my anxiety is crazy bad & depression is slowly creeping in. Iv been having severe panic attacks making me think I’m going to die and I can’t breathe and the smallest things trigger it because I’m an over thinker. Iv been trying to think positively and focusing on my thoughts and changing them as soon as they go bad. I found this video over the summer because I was in desperate need of something that would help my anxiety. I saw that you recommended “The Magic” and figured why not. When the pandemic hit earlier this year, I got a lot of anxiety and it wouldn’t go away. It felt as if I had tried everything but nothing seemed to work. After ready “The Magic” and doing all of its exercises, my anxiety went away and I couldn’t believe it. I needed this. I have anxiety, panic, agoraphobia and depression for 6 months. So debilitating. Ive tried anxiety books, therapy... No joy. I have The Magic but not read it yet. Today i will pick it up. Ive read The Secret and i had a good month after reading it but I've slipped back. Mines been triggered by negative relationships with toxic family. Being real and raw here......... I have lived with anxiety and depression for over 20yrs now. My depression and anxiety have no past or future. It is just there. After over 20 plus years of living with it, I don't believe anything will help me. It has consume me. I fear one day I will end my life because I am tired of fighting to rise above it all. My job causes me debilitating anxiety. I need the money or I would quit. I have been looking for new employment, but not getting anywhere. I was off for months due to COVID and its my first day back and here I am in bed crying myself to sleep because I am absolutely terrified. I wish to go to sleep and not wake up for work. I hate my job so much. It is one major trigger for me. I think manifesting can work for so many people, but some of us are just to deep in the void to ever see the light again.

Its gotten so bad that I try to avoid going to the store just because I don't want to see ppl that I know because I really don't like talking to ppl anymore. I used to love going to the gym and now I prefer not to go anymore just to avoid social interactions.😓
This is so good. Yes that knot is always there even when I'm not completely full of anxiety it's still there lurking. I feel I'm pretending . I only really want to shift that and feel good about myself and feel a sense of amazing wellbeing. There is nothing materialistist I want just want to feel good and lighter . If that makes sense

Thank you so much for this video Emma. I'm currently on my like 10th different anti depressants and doing counselling for years for depression and anxiety. I have learnt a lot from counselling (I had to try MANY counsellors before I found one I vibed with) but I hope I wont have to go to counselling forever ! It's 60€ a week and I'm a student !! I love the magic it's truly life challenging I've read it 3 times and lent it to my mam and sister - going to get it back and read it again. Emma, I have a question. I’ve been reading The Secret and how to manifest the things I want. I have anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome. Obviously I want to have energy, feel happy and calm. It says to act as though you’ve already received what you’ve asked for. So if I want energy for example how do you believe you’ve already received that if you’re fatigued due to depression and chronic anxiety? I hope this makes sense, it’s something I’ve struggled to understand with health issues and the Law of Attraction. Thank you. Julie
What I’d suggest you to do is every morning before you do anything else. Get a notebook or a piece of paper and write “I am grateful....” and think about all the things you can be grateful for, for your health money family life it could be anything. Write it about 20 times each day and really feel it. In your case considering you are struggling with mental health, you should say things like “I am grateful for... my state of mind” “i am grateful to be mentally and physically healthy” try it for at least 21 days and I promise that things will change for you:)
You have try everything together. Wake up and do meditation, stretch, cold showers, healthy vitamens, healthy food, water, wtiting what you should be grateful for, catching your negative thoughts when they come up and thinking positive, small exercises and listening to music that gives you energy
I have no desire to go on anymore. Anxiety in my case just isn't curable. I've been anxious since I was a kid, 32 now. It literally gets worse every year.

As someone who has struggled with depression since the age of 10 (I'm 29 now) and without medication, it is so difficult to overcome it when your circumstances are so disappointing. When you're recovering from child abuse, you literally have to perform surgery on your brain to get the absess out and replace each infected thought with a healthy, helpful one. But essentially, all that you've said in this video, I stand behind 100%. We have to use gratitude and healthy pride in the excellent human beings we've become, take back the power that others have tried to take from us, accept that we're human with flaws like everyone else but we're not broken, and live in the moment the best that we possibly can. The world is not as scary as we've been led to believe. Yes, not everyone is a good person, but most people truly are. Don't ever give up, give yourself credit for the hard work you've already put in to save yourself. This is your life. We come into this life alone and we die alone so we must live by our intuition alone as we see fit for ourselves (so long as we're kind to others). God bless.

I didn't realize that i feel depressed for years because of the trauma that occurred for so many years in my childhood.. For so many years (after the trauma in my childhood) i feel constantly tired, mood swing, unmotivated, low energy, unable to feel a "full happiness" (like i sometimes faking it to myself), uncontrollable emotions, feel so angry for a small problem, feel deeply sad for some small little things, keep doing the same thing in a constant (like laying on the bed for hours or sitting on toilet for hours for no strong reason), keep doing silly things (like making sure that i "actually" turning off the wireless mouse over and over again), i feel so annoyed when someone is sleeping in the house especially when i busy doing something (since I'm still staying in my parents house), and sometimes daydreaming.... Idk how to cope with this really... I watch this video when my depression is at the peak for 2 days straight... In fact i feel surprised that i can write this comment since i was feel so lazy and lack of energy. So any suggestions? Should i taking medication or something else? Since my depression occurred for almost all of my life... I'm currently 26 yo, and it occurred mostly from around 18 yo.

Thank you, beautiful. This came in my recommendations at the right time. I struggle with PMDD(basically PMS on steroids with a dash of panic attacks and suicidal thoughts) and I manifested a “cure”. I was dopped up with antidepressants which made me worse(I literally felt like I was in this black hole that I was going to stay in there forever, food had no taste, music was not music) and benzos(which can cause addiction). I found a sympathetic doctor who found out it was all because of my thyroid. And not only that thanks to LOA I manifested studying abroad atm, I have so many great friends, I love myself(and it’s manifesting even in my appearance), my family and I have never been closer etc.

Thank you Emma, great video. I agree with you, it is a terrific book. For anybody who is struggling I highly recommend repeat reading 'The Magic' over and over again. If you want sustained happiness you have to make practicing gratitude a habit. Heck make gratitude a way of life. Reading 'The Magic' over and over again, maybe even once a week, programs the idea of practicing gratitude and the power of it into your mind. Reading it once a week for the next year will do wonders for your mental health. You'll be way more likely to stick with your gratitude practice if you're reminded of it everyday. Being grateful for all the good that you have in your life now, is the foundation to happiness. Also, when you write down what you're grateful for and then read over them, I recommend recording it on your phone so you can listen to it later on a walk, in the gym or on your commute. I know how it feels when you truly care about people around you but not being treated the same way, it hurts a lot but thats just how life is. But you have to love yourself first before you expect to receive from someone else. I'm not sure whether this is the right way to deal with things but i told myself that it's fine even if everyone abandoned me, its ok to be alone. Maybe you could treat yourself to something nice, go on a nature trip, try to spend some time alone away from where you live. It doesn't need to be a long trip, a few hours is good enough to clear your thoughts, that works the best for me. I can tell that you are a wonderful by reading your comment. Stay strong, things will get better as time passes.

I’m trying LOA too but I think it’s important that we heal before trying to manifest anything. Also the loa community can come off as victim blamey. I don’t believe you can manifest your depression or ptsd especially because most of it stems from childhood trauma out of your control. that’s a very toxic way of thinking. we are in control of and able to manifest abundance in our future and PRESENT, not our past ❤️

Another thing I do everyday is say “oh my anxiety this..” “my depression that!” Blaming all my bad moods and affirming to everyone I have those! That probably doesn’t help with me still having it!

I fell helpless because no one belive me they give different interpretation about my illness just like evil work. I really worry about it . Be careful with what you're saying about antidepressants! You have a voice, platform and influence. SSRIs react very differently with every human. Finding the right meds -- combined with lifestyle etc. saved my life. I would hate for someone to see this and not try something that might help them stay alive.
Medication should be a last resort but sometimes we do need it, I was on meds for about 6 years, been off them for almost 15 years but I would take them again if necessary, anyone suffering with depression and anxiety get your thyroid, vitamin D and iron levels checked, I was put on meds and the doctor never checked my vitamin D, I had to ask them to check my levels and found out my vitamin D was seriously low, stay strong everyone depression and anxiety can be overcome!
@@melodymodica7922 which medication were you on? And How did you taper them off. I mean how did you get off them, I have been on SSRIs for 6 years , slowly tapering them off, but scared that once I get off them, the depression and anxiety will come back.
Iqra Farooq I was on zoloft and Wellbutrin, I only took the Wellbutrin for about 3 months and stopped taking it but I was on zoloft off and on for about 5 or 6 years, I had found a book on how to taper off antidepressants, I can’t remember the exact name of the book but go on amazon or eBay search for books on how to get off antidepressants there is a few, I tapered off very slowly, I did feel a little weird for about a month after but I have been totally ok since, I would talk to your doctor and see if they can help you taper off and if you are working I wouldn’t start the taper unless you can take some time off work, at the time when I started tapering off I was only working part time like 15 hours a week, I just want to let others that you don’t have to take meds for life, and it is possible to manage depression without them, I might make videos about it because I could probably write a whole book about it.
I dont even think it should be "last resort" or that it is somehow "damaging" to use them. The HUGE problem is, that if you are very deep down into depression and you pin all your hopes on this pill that will "cure" it... and it wont. .. wow you are in for a BAD time. That is the biggest danger.

Lucky that you had your parents to be there for you to help you at least financially a bit. My parents dont believe in depression and anxiety, above all I live in a different country then do they and when I was at the worst with my depression I couldnt even talk to my boyfriend as he was working abroad and way too busy to try to help me at all (he was in Brunei so when I was waking up he was going to sleep and vice versa so that gave us maybe 2h a day when we could talk if he had time). Also my boss at work when I tried to tell her what is going on with me totally lost her mind and yelled at me at the top of her voice. I felt lost and completely alone. Now my depression is under control but my anxiety is really bad and so I am in a desparate search what to do to break the cycle of those imprisoning thoughts
Counselling empowers you to find the answers that you need for yourself! Anxiety and depression can also be triggered by bad nutrition or being anaemic, mainly lack of vitamin D as not having enough in your body is detrimental to your health! Bad environment and being around negative or not productive people, can drain your energy! I hope that anyone who is feeling lonely and on the edge, can reach to a friend or someone to listen to them! Good intentions definitely help but we struggle to reach them if we don't change our circle, our partner, friends, job or even family, if they are the ones who are making our life miserable!!!
I feel like I'm never going to get out of this, I feel alone, I feel suicidal. My anxiety is so bad everyday, I feel detached from reality, if theres hope. I want to try, and get better.

That's what I've had with a lot of my clients who've had counselling before, and why I call myself a psychotherapist or psychotherapeutic counsellor because it's the same benefits of counselling burning actually work with my client to teach them the tools they need to help them in their situation. Having had anxiety for most of my life it is so important to me to get my clients the help they need asap so they can life a happy and joyful and fulfilling life :) I'm all about the short term and long term well-being of my clients 🌷everyone I've worked with has had success with my methods in giving them control of their anxiety and I'm so blessed to be able to say that lol. I used affirmations a lot when healing the anxiety I experienced. I had generalised anxiety since I was really young so it wasn't situational and very rooted into my personality at the time. Its so amazing to feel free of fear and the horrible physical sensations anxiety can come along with. Anxiety is more future based but not always and depression is tyoically past based but again not always. You are right, there's a Huge element of giving power away with anxiety and realising where you're doing that in your life and having the tools and curiosity to just try to not give it away I ls incredibly helpful! :) x

I've had anxiety and depression for around 18 years. I am terrified of going to work. I will definitely buy the book as I'm desperate to get better. I've tried therapy several times and I totally agree about counselling just dragging things up and leaving open wounds. Since I've started looking at spiritual videos law attraction included I've already noticed a shift in the way I'm thinking. I'm starting to realise that the things I expect to be too difficult. The ones I panic about aren't nearly as bad as I think that they are going to be.

I was a therapist for 12 years and also had major depression. I stopped being a therapist and taught the law of attraction and now I don't have depression. lol I agree with you.

God that's interesting. I do think parts therapy/IFS seems incredibly helpful & can tie in nicely with LOA because you are establishing that adult calm part/true self whilst healing your terrified child part/emotions/subconscious and getting them to link ...but the one time I paid for therapy it took them ages to start bringing this in properly by which time I'd had to leave. It's only since then that Ive come across it myself and do the therapy myself! Meanwhile I find LOA/Assumption is also the best and most effective part for me 👍❤

I used to struggle with anxiety and depression too. In my mind at the time I thought that what would “cure me” was a friend. I didn’t feel as though I couldn’t connect and I just wanted someone that would break this wall between me and the world. Obviously, that friend didn’t come but I started to analyze myself and not put any labels just see what were my struggles and try to overcome them one by one. Guess what? Once I pulled myself out of that emotional hole, I manifested an awesome friend into my life 😊

Hello I’m abi and I’m 16. This video is going to be the change in my life that I need. I’m sat here now worrying about my life without my mum (who has terminal cancer) but she’s still here and fighting! I need to get out of this depression and state of mind because before I know she will be gone! I can’t walk away from this! I’m going to be happy and take back over my mind. I accepted my anxiety. Because it is caused by fear based thinking. I had to decide that when I became anxious I would say "okay this is making me anxious but that's okay." Therefore telling my brain that anxiety isn't something to fear. As far as specific actions or situations that cause anxiety it would be good to face them if just for small amounts of time until you feel comfortable. All the while accepting that it's ok to be anxious. Ideally eventually you wont respond with anxiety. Hope this helps!♥️

Everything you said also relates to the book called 'The Anxiety Cure' and a neuroscientist says there would have been warning signs we ignore and then your body finally screams at you in the form of a panic attack until you pay attention (the job you hated and the relationship you hated). For most of us, panic attacks are not a chemical reaction, it's how we've wired our brains to constantly search for negatives like you said! I'm so glad you posted this video - I definitely feel like there is hope :-)

I found this video over the summer because I was in desperate need of something that would help my anxiety. I saw that you recommended “The Magic” and figured why not. When the pandemic hit earlier this year, I got a lot of anxiety and it wouldn’t go away. It felt as if I had tried everything but nothing seemed to work. After ready “The Magic” and doing all of its exercises, my anxiety went away and I couldn’t believe it. I went back to try and look for your video again on my TH-cam so that I could thank YOU for recommending this book and thank the universe and God for for having me come across this video. I’ve officially had no anxiety since August and I am FOREVER thankful!! ❤️❤️❤️✨
I needed this. I have anxiety, panic, agoraphobia and depression for 6 months. So debilitating. Ive tried anxiety books, therapy... No joy. I have The Magic but not read it yet. Today i will pick it up. Ive read The Secret and i had a good month after reading it but I've slipped back. Mines been triggered by negative relationships with toxic family. Being real and raw here......... I have lived with anxiety and depression for over 20yrs now. My depression and anxiety have no past or future. It is just there. After over 20 plus years of living with it, I don't believe anything will help me. It has consume me. I fear one day I will end my life because I am tired of fighting to rise above it all. My job causes me debilitating anxiety. I need the money or I would quit. I have been looking for new employment, but not getting anywhere. I was off for months due to COVID and its my first day back and here I am in bed crying myself to sleep because I am absolutely terrified. I wish to go to sleep and not wake up for work. I hate my job so much. It is one major trigger for me. I think manifesting can work for so many people, but some of us are just to deep in the void to ever see the light again.

Thank you so much for this video Emma. I'm currently on my like 10th different anti depressants and doing counselling for years for depression and anxiety. I have learnt a lot from counselling (I had to try MANY counsellors before I found one I vibed with) but I hope I wont have to go to counselling forever ! It's 60€ a week and I'm a student !!

Emma, I have a question. I’ve been reading The Secret and how to manifest the things I want. I have anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome. Obviously I want to have energy, feel happy and calm. It says to act as though you’ve already received what you’ve asked for. So if I want energy for example how do you believe you’ve already received that if you’re fatigued due to depression and chronic anxiety? I hope this makes sense, it’s something I’ve struggled to understand with health issues and the Law of Attraction. Thank you. Julie

What I’d suggest you to do is every morning before you do anything else. Get a notebook or a piece of paper and write “I am grateful....” and think about all the things you can be grateful for, for your health money family life it could be anything. Write it about 20 times each day and really feel it. In your case considering you are struggling with mental health, you should say things like “I am grateful for... my state of mind” “i am grateful to be mentally and physically healthy” try it for at least 21 days and I promise that things will change for you:)
You have try everything together. Wake up and do meditation, stretch, cold showers, healthy vitamens, healthy food, water, wtiting what you should be grateful for, catching your negative thoughts when they come up and thinking positive, small exercises and listening to music that gives you energy
I have no desire to go on anymore. Anxiety in my case just isn't curable. I've been anxious since I was a kid, 32 now. It literally gets worse every year.

As someone who has struggled with depression since the age of 10 (I'm 29 now) and without medication, it is so difficult to overcome it when your circumstances are so disappointing. When you're recovering from child abuse, you literally have to perform surgery on your brain to get the absess out and replace each infected thought with a healthy, helpful one. But essentially, all that you've said in this video, I stand behind 100%. We have to use gratitude and healthy pride in the excellent human beings we've become, take back the power that others have tried to take from us, accept that we're human with flaws like everyone else but we're not broken, and live in the moment the best that we possibly can. The world is not as scary as we've been led to believe. Yes, not everyone is a good person, but most people truly are. Don't ever give up, give yourself credit for the hard work you've already put in to save yourself. This is your life. We come into this life alone and we die alone so we must live by our intuition alone as we see fit for ourselves (so long as we're kind to others). God bless.

I didn't realize that i feel depressed for years because of the trauma that occurred for so many years in my childhood..
For so many years (after the trauma in my childhood) i feel constantly tired, mood swing, unmotivated, low energy, unable to feel a "full happiness" (like i sometimes faking it to myself), uncontrollable emotions, feel so angry for a small problem, feel deeply sad for some small little things, keep doing the same thing in a constant (like laying on the bed for hours or sitting on toilet for hours for no strong reason), keep doing silly things (like making sure that i "actually" turning off the wireless mouse over and over again), i feel so annoyed when someone is sleeping in the house especially when i busy doing something (since I'm still staying in my parents house), and sometimes daydreaming....
Idk how to cope with this really... I watch this video when my depression is at the peak for 2 days straight... In fact i feel surprised that i can write this comment since i was feel so lazy and lack of energy.
So any suggestions? Should i taking medication or something else? Since my depression occurred for almost all of my life... I'm currently 26 yo, and it occurred mostly from around 18 yo.

Thank you, beautiful. This came in my recommendations at the right time. I struggle with PMDD(basically PMS on steroids with a dash of panic attacks and suicidal thoughts) and I manifested a “cure”. I was dopped up with antidepressants which made me worse(I literally felt like I was in this black hole that I was going to stay in there forever, food had no taste, music was not music) and benzos(which can cause addiction). I found a sympathetic doctor who found out it was all because of my thyroid. And not only that thanks to LOA I manifested studying abroad atm, I have so many great friends, I love myself(and it’s manifesting even in my appearance), my family and I have never been closer etc.

Thank you Emma, great video. I agree with you, it is a terrific book. For anybody who is struggling I highly recommend repeat reading 'The Magic' over and over again. If you want sustained happiness you have to make practicing gratitude a habit. Heck make gratitude a way of life. Reading 'The Magic' over and over again, maybe even once a week, programs the idea of practicing gratitude and the power of it into your mind. Reading it once a week for the next year will do wonders for your mental health. You'll be way more likely to stick with your gratitude practice if you're reminded of it everyday. Being grateful for all the good that you have in your life now, is the foundation to happiness. Also, when you write down what you're grateful for and then read over them, I recommend recording it on your phone so you can listen to it later on a walk, in the gym or on your commute. I know how it feels when you truly care about people around you but not being treated the same way, it hurts a lot but thats just how life is. But you have to love yourself first before you expect to receive from someone else. I'm not sure whether this is the right way to deal with things but i told myself that it's fine even if everyone abandoned me, its ok to be alone. Maybe you could treat yourself to something nice, go on a nature trip, try to spend some time alone away from where you live. It doesn't need to be a long trip, a few hours is good enough to clear your thoughts, that works the best for me. I can tell that you are a wonderful by reading your comment. Stay strong, things will get better as time passes.

I’m trying LOA too but I think it’s important that we heal before trying to manifest anything. Also the loa community can come off as victim blamey. I don’t believe you can manifest your depression or ptsd especially because most of it stems from childhood trauma out of your control. that’s a very toxic way of thinking. we are in control of and able to manifest abundance in our future and PRESENT, not our past ❤️

Another thing I do everyday is say “oh my anxiety this..” “my depression that!” Blaming all my bad moods and affirming to everyone I have those! That probably doesn’t help with me still having it!

I fell helpless because no one belive me they give different interpretation about my illness just like evil work. I really worry about it . Be careful with what you're saying about antidepressants! You have a voice, platform and influence. SSRIs react very differently with every human. Finding the right meds -- combined with lifestyle etc. saved my life. I would hate for someone to see this and not try something that might help them stay alive.
Medication should be a last resort but sometimes we do need it, I was on meds for about 6 years, been off them for almost 15 years but I would take them again if necessary, anyone suffering with depression and anxiety get your thyroid, vitamin D and iron levels checked, I was put on meds and the doctor never checked my vitamin D, I had to ask them to check my levels and found out my vitamin D was seriously low, stay strong everyone depression and anxiety can be overcome!
@@melodymodica7922 which medication were you on? And How did you taper them off. I mean how did you get off them, I have been on SSRIs for 6 years , slowly tapering them off, but scared that once I get off them, the depression and anxiety will come back.
Iqra Farooq I was on zoloft and Wellbutrin, I only took the Wellbutrin for about 3 months and stopped taking it but I was on zoloft off and on for about 5 or 6 years, I had found a book on how to taper off antidepressants, I can’t remember the exact name of the book but go on amazon or eBay search for books on how to get off antidepressants there is a few, I tapered off very slowly, I did feel a little weird for about a month after but I have been totally ok since, I would talk to your doctor and see if they can help you taper off and if you are working I wouldn’t start the taper unless you can take some time off work, at the time when I started tapering off I was only working part time like 15 hours a week, I just want to let others that you don’t have to take meds for life, and it is possible to manage depression without them, I might make videos about it because I could probably write a whole book about it.

I dont even think it should be "last resort" or that it is somehow "damaging" to use them. The HUGE problem is, that if you are very deep down into depression and you pin all your hopes on this pill that will "cure" it... and it wont. .. wow you are in for a BAD time. That is the biggest danger.

Lucky that you had your parents to be there for you to help you at least financially a bit. My parents dont believe in depression and anxiety, above all I live in a different country then do they and when I was at the worst with my depression I couldnt even talk to my boyfriend as he was working abroad and way too busy to try to help me at all (he was in Brunei so when I was waking up he was going to sleep and vice versa so that gave us maybe 2h a day when we could talk if he had time). Also my boss at work when I tried to tell her what is going on with me totally lost her mind and yelled at me at the top of her voice. I felt lost and completely alone.
Now my depression is under control but my anxiety is really bad and so I am in a desparate search what to do to break the cycle of those imprisoning thoughts

Counselling empowers you to find the answers that you need for yourself! Anxiety and depression can also be triggered by bad nutrition or being anaemic, mainly lack of vitamin D as not having enough in your body is detrimental to your health! Bad environment and being around negative or not productive people, can drain your energy! I hope that anyone who is feeling lonely and on the edge, can reach to a friend or someone to listen to them! Good intentions definitely help but we struggle to reach them if we don't change our circle, our partner, friends, job or even family, if they are the ones who are making our life miserable!!!

What book 📖 should I read
I feel like I'm never going to get out of this, I feel alone, I feel suicidal. My anxiety is so bad everyday, I feel detached from reality, if theres hope. I want to try, and get better.

That's what I've had with a lot of my clients who've had counselling before, and why I call myself a psychotherapist or psychotherapeutic counsellor because it's the same benefits of counselling burning actually work with my client to teach them the tools they need to help them in their situation. Having had anxiety for most of my life it is so important to me to get my clients the help they need asap so they can life a happy and joyful and fulfilling life :) I'm all about the short term and long term well-being of my clients 🌷everyone I've worked with has had success with my methods in giving them control of their anxiety and I'm so blessed to be able to say that lol. I used affirmations a lot when healing the anxiety I experienced. I had generalised anxiety since I was really young so it wasn't situational and very rooted into my personality at the time. Its so amazing to feel free of fear and the horrible physical sensations anxiety can come along with. Anxiety is more future based but not always and depression is tyoically past based but again not always. You are right, there's a Huge element of giving power away with anxiety and realising where you're doing that in your life and having the tools and curiosity to just try to not give it away I ls incredibly helpful! :) x
