That little girl standing with your wife sure is a cutie, every time I see her she makes me laugh...Coco little guy is fine lookin colt, going to be interesting watching him as he grows up.
I like your channel. but sometimes I have a hard time hearing what you say. you are so soft spoken this old lady can't hear.. I turn my sound up and it still pretty soft.. just got to remember to turn my sound down before I move on. you stack hay like my dad did and that is how I learned to do it. thank you for the video love seeing the babies.
Jerry when you go out to see the newly born goals to check for the first time are you hoping to see a filly or a stud colt? Why? Sure enjoy seeing each of your horses! Enjoy your videos! Thanks.
Thanks for taking time to answer? I always liked my mares and liked working with them as much as with my geldings (unlike lots of folks). But do your colts bring about 15% more than fillies?
Wife......Hi Jerry and family. Hey I just wanted to apologize for making a mistake the other day when you were announcing the ballgame. I accidentally called you grandpa, and someone immediately corrected me. I was thinking Dad, but hey when you get to be my age sometimes you just don't think straight 😉. Anyway I certainly never meant any disrespect, I greatly apologize for getting (or saying) it wrong 😔. I must admit I'm used to watching Danielle or Henson, but it's been a real pleasure watching and listening to you talk about your family, stock, ranching, and your KIDS playing baseball ⚾. I'll tell you one thing for sure.... If I was lucky enough to hit the lottery or something, I wouldn't hesitate one second, I would buy Monster ( no matter what your asking price) I would keep him a stud, because he's a real gentleman. I wouldn't breed him anymore...... He would simply be a light walk/ride horse for me. He is without a doubt my FAVORITE heart horse. You have many beautiful horses Jerry, and as I see it you're a very Blessed Man, with a beautiful wife and children. Again, apologies for my error earlier. Blessings 🙌 to all....... Jennifer
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz Thank you for responding to me. I know how busy y'all are, and I greatly appreciate you taking the time for me. I also appreciate your understanding of the Ross and Connor mix up. God be with you all 🙌 Jennifer P.S. if I could make it happen, and promised to never breed him, would you maybe sell Monster to me??
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz I truly understand, I simply adore him (Monster) he is magnificent!! A lot of my horses were out of "One Eyed Jack" line. Pretty nice quarter horses. Thanks again for all of your correspondence, it's been my honor and pleasure. Again, Blessings 🙌 Jennifer Chandler AZ
Jerry Thank You for telling us how and why you stack your hay bales the way you do. I love and enjoy seeing all the baby horses. How would I get a shirt like yours with the J Heart Brand on it and on the sleeves? Long Live Cowboys.
Actually no. I went for a week and was feeling pretty good. Lost some horses so I got on a motorcycle and went driving through the range. I found them but I’m sore again. I will go see the chiropractor Monday.
How many head of both cattle and horses do you have? Also how many acres do you own or lease? Down In your country how much land do you need per head? Feel free to save these for a Question and answer was just curious.
I just wanted to ask you is that all your horses and yor land it is beautiful their Iam from the city I dont see that alot only on u tube horses are beautiful
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz Thanks for your reply , yeah thats true enough , plus can get a good idea at 2 years old if they are good enough to make a good breeding stallion , l sell my colt foals before they are yearlings but try and hang on to the fillies until they are 2 / 3 year olds , back them at 2 then leave them until they are 3 before training in earnest ..... you have some great mares n stallions , great family set up !
👍👍
👍🏻
Sure enjoy seeing the mamas and their babies.
We enjoy it very much too
The blue roan with white socks @6:52 is beautiful! 🤩😍

I never thought I'd miss this kind of work.

You don't have much grass but your horses look great
Haha we have 100% more than the normal. Your right not much but they do well.
Nice hay. We produce round bails on our hay farm. Mainly for cattle .Always enjoy your great looking horses.👍🇺🇸
Love raising horses. They are beautiful and relaxing
Beautiful horses and love to see the babies. Keep catching myself wanting all your babies. Haha
They are all available

Thanks. We have gotten a microphone and have been using it a lot lately
How I use to stack the hay .. real similar. Make sure it could go 55 mph. as I often had to use the highway.
Agree
That's some nice hay! Heavy too if I recall they were 120 lbs here. In California if you don't tie down your load, you can get a ticket😵💫
That’s very interesting

No disrespect taken. Ross is our son and Connor our Grandson. We love both. We are blessed. We love all our horses also. Thanks for the message.

I’m in love with Coco’s colt ❤️ long way to deliver to Australia 🇦🇺 lol
Great video again, I always learn something in your videos. 😊👍
Thank you. We are glad to have you watching from Australia
Jerry are you feeling better from the other day when you and your family were Branding? During the vlog Lets Go Brandin.
Actually no. I went for a week and was feeling pretty good. Lost some horses so I got on a motorcycle and went driving through the range. I found them but I’m sore again. I will go see the chiropractor Monday.
How soon do the colts start eating hay??
They start eating what their mama eats in 2 or 3 days
Have u counted the foals that are on the ground so far Jerry
Yes we count and put them on record for registration
What is the cost of a bale of Alfalfa & Orchard in Arizona?
About 23 to 25 per bale
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz You are $3.00 less than in Nevada
How many head of both cattle and horses do you have? Also how many acres do you own or lease? Down In your country how much land do you need per head? Feel free to save these for a Question and answer was just curious.
It is about 12 head per section.
A section is 640 acres

Thx we do enjoy being with our animals
What does one of those bales weight, Jerry?
96 lbs
96 lbs
Jerry I have a question, I see Henson riding all the time, do you still ride?
Yes when I wish. Not full throttle.
What age do you castrate your colts , and do you choose to leave some to make future stallions ?
We always say we can take it out but you can’t put it back. We don’t castrate until they are 2. We hope the foals are gone way before that.

Do y’all let your mares drop in the field or do ya have a birthing barn .
They stay in the pasture
