I can’t wait to try this! It looks really hard to do on myself so I think I’m going to teach my mom and she if she can do it on me. But my hair is only to the top of my chest so I’m not sure how it will work.

How many ponytails do you have to make like goodness. I have bubble braids in my hair and I’m scared to take them out and trying this because I’m scared of doing it wrong but I’ll try this tomorrow and sleep with it in

Cut them or break them
Good hairbands shouldn't do that, make sure they're either covered with thread/fabric, or made of silicone rather than actual rubber. Rubber parts when you stretch it and the hair gets caught in the gaps.

It could be because your hair is layered or short
Could you do this in two so you have one either side of head like French braids

Does this work on short medium length hair
If you can get it into small ponytails, then you should be able to do it, you might not be able to pull in the hair that much, but just look out for where the ends of the hair is :D x
