Hello, I liked the series. My objective is to convert pcs or pts files formats to Inventor file format to ultimately import into NX. I can't wait for the Inventor section.
Hi @MGAutoCAD thanks for the kind comment. Unfortunately as we only do these tutorials during quiet periods with a view to helping out others, we have been unable to get to the planned next tutorial of working with the point clouds in Inventor at this stage. We do have a tutorial posted that shows how to insert the point cloud into Inventor if that is of any help in getting you started. From there it is pretty much a case of using planes and sketches to trace the point cloud and create the solids you wish to create. I know that sounds a little vague but it really is that simple. We are hoping to be able to specifically dedicate some time and effort to doing tutorials later this year though, so please feel free to subscribe to get those as they come out.
Josh, thank you for these quick videos, was very helpful when started our journey with point clouds. Greetings from NZ
Awesome Josh, i'm new to point clouds, and this is a brilliant presentation, looking forward to fleshing this out.
