I completely agree where celeborn is placed, but I think he may be better than you give him credit for (I am just going to say that before you read this, i have never played lothlorian), because something that I don't think is talked about is the fact that you could just not give him his armor. I don't really think he needs it, because he shouldn't really be losing fights anyway, as he of course has 5 dule dice at FV 6 elven made (im counting a banner) and with 2 transfix casters, even if he loses fights those heroes in the fights with him should not be striking, and because of blinding light, bows are not a problem either. Because of this, I think you can shave off the 15 points for armor, which does put him at just 135 points for a f6 lord of the west . Please tell me if i am just an idiot for even thinking this. This is more a question to the Lothlorian players if this idea actually has merit.
he did fuck all for me at an event other week, spent 4 turns in combat with a single warrior of minas tirith, killed a single rohan royal gaurd then was stuck in combat vs dernhelm, struggled vs a return of the king list (although aura of command was atleast useful i guess).
well, I agree Gandalf The White is way too expensive so Gandalf The Gray is 170 points, Gandalf The White has one more spell than, one more attack, and one more defense than Gandalf The Gay let's say that a point of attack, defense is 5 points and if a spell is also 5 points then Gandalf The White should be 205 points with Shadowfax, 185 without him where is the other 35 points coming from their exactly same beside the extra attack, defense, and spell you could say that Gandalf The White has lower rolls for his spells than Gandalf The Gray okay fine that's fair let's say that every spell roll is 1 point that would still only add up to 6 points putting him at 211 points so where is the other 29 points are coming from Gandalf The White is ridiculously overpriced there is no argument for Gandalf The White being 220 points as he is right now, but even though that's true I still think that he is a good caster at least B tier because if I take Loth Galadriel then I don't really have a way to deal with spirit models, or Wizards, and magic to some extend, if I take Radagast I don't get better immobile (command), again I don't have any real answers for spirits, other wizards, or magic, same with Saruman The White but if I take Gandalf The White get all the support as Galadriel with the same casting mind you and ether have the re-roll, and have more offense spells then Saruman The White and has the same casting as him even though not the re-roll but if I just break his staff Gandalf will just out cast him sorry your 180 point wizard only can cast 6 more spells until he absolutely useless and is just a waist of 180 points for the most part same goes with Radagast, and if you have a spirit model he'll just banish you just of existence, if you have magic that Gandalf can't break, or blip out he has fortify spirit to deal with that, and if he's spell doesn't go off he just goes off to kill ether a troop, or a low end hero so if I don't know a Which-King, or a Necromancer breaks his staff and his out of will well I can just have him run around killing troops and/or lower heroes so Gandalf The White always has something to do at least that's what I think
As a fellow Gandalf enjoyer, I do agree with a lot of your points but, my man, some more sentence structure would be wonderful!? That was very hard to read. Gandalf is sadly, very expensive for what he brings to Minas Tirith. Your other big ticket options bring more might, are far better in combat and have BIG banners, among other things. Gandalf isn't as good in combat as them, and now also have to pay more points to bring banners. I love him, and I've used him a few times in tournaments, where he can absolutely ruin your opponent's day, but he sadly does not bring enough to the army; let alone when you compare his magic capabilities to other similarly costed wizards and mages.
the best thing about the new edition.....we can have ALL THE TIER LISTS AGAIN!!!!
you guys are such a power couple
Can’t wait to see you guys climb the mesbg hill again you guys make amazing and hilarious content!
Ashamed you guys didn't rawdog it and do every caster in one tier list like we did 😎
We're just entrepreneurs, gotta milk the content 😘

best way to play riv knights is Elrond, Arwen, and Raddy Daddy on sleigh, so gnarly
No no no.
Boromir if Rivendell with elrond and lindir and twins is best Riv knights list.
But god isn't raddy daddy just the bets

Did not even talked about that Goldberry makes models in 6" fearless😢.
But yes, she is bad because of having to take Tom
Not a spell 😂
