I think now is your turn to "improve" it 😅. Is a simple receiver... and the results are nothing like WOW... but is fun to play with... and the best... we learn a lot along the way, I think that is what matters the most. The learning process... 73 buddy and have fun with it. Today I was playing with a large value variable capacitor. If you look into the new version I have now... I soldered the capacitor instead of C15... it was tuning between 4.3MHz to 7.2MHz. Not bad at all 😁😁.
@@dxexplorermy first video of the receiver was two years ago, i think this is a really simple modification and i instantly works. I have also tried with variable capacitor not that big though and it works in a more broad range. The next step is to make it a 6 band receiver, with the relays you can include everything. @@sv2tcb I wanted to make some sort of "all amateur HF bands" regen receiver ... but fully with transistors only. A bit more complicated one with some audio filtering and also RF filtering on the input. But for this I think I will try one of the schematics from N1TEV and start from there. Is a little more sensitive so we will see how that works. A project for the winter maybe. Not much free time now.
Ok yes, maybe this project has reached an end. I want to try a qrp transceiver from vk3ye with ceram resonator but i have to find the parts which are not so common.
Good results. I think band's can increase up to 10 ( 10 position rotary swich ). Band swich in main's LC tank's coil ( increase windings, coil sections ).
