Great video as usual lads the upper clyde can be hard going nymphing can be deadly at times but fishing wets spiders etc down and across on its day can be deadly and its a very relaxing way of fishing .
Great videa lads...i have to remark how much i greatly enjoyed the Grayling series as well...being a annual visitor for a weeks fishing on the Teviot...sadly not produced as it used to but was equal in terms of Grayling to the Nith....hopefully its just cycles and it comes back....all the best gentlemen
Loving the videos guys! Binge watched about 10 vids in 2 days! Was pleading with the screen at 43 mins in saying please stay on please stay on! Mega chuffed Gordon landed that fish! Great content!
My first rod was a ww2 tank Ariel I used it to lash the water of the river Tyne in East Lothian it cost me ten shillings looking forward to my Orkney trip next month tight lines
Good video lads top end of the Clyde is a extremely hard river to fish very spooky trout, I tend to euro nymph the fast water rather than glides as you get better cover in the fast water am sure you lads will hook a biggie soon 👌
Superb guys. Tbf, the Clyde isn't known for being an easy river, but if you wanna catch fish, I'd fish wets down and across, hands down the easiest method and you WILL take fish on it. Brilliant video, really well shot, and there's not many folks on YT that will take themselves out of their comfort zone. Top stuff.
Really enjoyed that lads , there is more to fishing than just catching fish your out there in nature, I'm an ardent lure fisher but do enjoy a bit of flyfishing, been a long time since I've fished the Clyde. Well done and I'm looking forward to your next million casts.
Great stuff . Stick at it lads as when the fish start coming there’s no more rewarding catch than a wild brownie from a river regardless of the size . You’ve got me wanting to try coastal bombarda fishing next year and I’m sure I’ll be thinking “what am I doing wrong “ 😂. Btw tungsten ptn catches on most rivers 👍
Hi guys to me it's the watercraft. Look at bugs. Are about the colour of the water. The flow. But. Ask the regular people that fish the venue what's the best flies and ask the local tackle shop or were you get the permit and the balf what to use
Great video fellas loved it that upper stretch of the Clyde looks beautiful 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Well done boyes great to see you stick at it great show again till next time❤
Very enjoyable film lads. The Blae and Black or the bibio on the point and the black pennel on the dropper works well for the brownies.
Great job as usual boys👌
Thanks for the entertainment, again another great blog cast and scenery👍👋

Cheers mate, once I figure out what tungsten ptn is I'll give it a bash 🤣
@@angling360 tungsten beaded pheasant tail nymph , had more success with them than the goldhead versions as the get down really fast
Mind fishing that loch with Albion trout club ! Some spot
I recon the Highland small wild lochs the trout are more dark might be the peat in the water
Iam no fishing expert but what I've learnt about fly fishing is joining a fly tying club
Cani suggest something go to pinwood fishery speak to Dougie he keep you right plenty practice
Ah ya barsteward hahaha hahaha
Overthinking mate. Lol. Plenty practice even if its in a field you will love it by the end. And you will still have a giggle 😂😂
Gave with the mullet guys?
We will be targeting them next year.
Great video. I think your editing and content is tremendous. I can catch seatroot on the fly but my editing and content needs to improve.
Thanks alot Colin, if I can learn it anyone can, I've along way to go.....but I've enjoyed the journey so far.
Brill video
