Yes!!! Met him at Boom 2018 and attended his presentation there. A really genuin and nice guy who shares his tips and tricks! Enjoy people. Thx to BPM for sharing this for free!
excellent. It's so cool how "the mother of all creative blocks" can force a realignment... which then results in a track with such a weighty groove, while still being so delicate and subtle.
Some vsts and analog synths will accept the files from Scala which is a program where u write the frequency for every note in your desired scale they are called, . Scl and, . Tun files. You can also tune all of kontakt to a scale you've written in Scala. Some of the vsts that accept them are serum, zebra2, spectral, ace, albino, kontakt, etc etc etc. The sequential 6 also accepts them amoungst other hardware synths, you can also use hermode tuning on a virus to achieve the same thing. On merkabamusic.com yaygon explains how to do it for many synths. Also check out a book called mathematical music for more info on harmonic tunings, scales etc.
