Hey Rich, I would love to hear you give an in depth analysis of what EU teams are doing wrong in terms of GMing, what factors are there that people might not know about and what could be done or what would have to change to get LEC back on track. Of course people are talking about star players sitting on the bench, obvious trades that would improve both teams and bad team construction in terms of synergy but there have to be factors outside of sheer incompetence that led to this. I started watching league somewhere in season 3 or 4 and seeing EU go down so much is really irritating since the region has traditionally been pretty good at making more out of less specifically by getting the right players in the right teams, managing resources effectively and finding unique ways to win the game.
@@micahhh310 yeah this Razork Humanoid FNC has just been so meh ever since they first got together. The only time one could get somewhat hyped was the first year with Wunder, Upset and Hilly. And even then they had to band aid the hell out of that roster.
If Nymaera had a nickel for every time he was mistaken for a girl this year, he'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. #GAMGIRLS
The one version of Fnatic that I would like to see would be one where either irrelevant or photon, and carzzy replace Oscar and noah. Unironically, I feel like a Irrelevant/Photon Razork Humanoid Carzzy Jun line-up could contest g2 in europe. Maybe alphari if he is still playing. When it comes to Noah, I feel like if he is still playing like at msi by the end of summer, I would try to get a Free Agent adc (only one I can think of is Kobbe, but I'm sure there's someone else, but even then he might be an upgrade
Keire...the thing is...MONEY believe it or not. Plays a HUGE rolle in LoL. And theAntonio will give them that fan base boost they maybe search for too. Thats why they maybe thought lets pick him.
BDS are just a typical french team that fully emotional driven and the moral of team is made of glass and can be broken at any moment. Rich is right that they are probably the second best team of LEC if you take i to account purely eye test and overall team performance. If they manage to overcome it they will definitely be top 2. The question will always be their ceiling at international events with this roster or with this core. Just hope the average level of LEC will be higher so G2 will have somewhat acceptable practice cuz if THIS FNC team is the second best team yeah the region is definitely checked out
I kinda wish vitality had humanoid and labrov. Personally believe that team if if clicked would push g2 massively. Lucas would be the only player who may not stand up to g2 but every other player could play better or is maybe even just better in photons case. But id also love carzzy and photon/irrelevant on fnatic would be potentially able to beat g2 aswell. Either way around i think gives g2 a great 2nd team but they probaly won't happen/work as lag has had bad team construction and super teams keep failing
When Upset has no Hyli to guide him and urge him to play aggressively he just turns into his old version of a passive farming adc he used to be before meeting Hyli who was the reason for his rise. Let's be real! Any adc who starts playing with Hyli becomes a top adc in the LEC and as soon as Hyli leaves - he just crushes and fumbles down. Upset proved it, Rekkles proved it and now Carzzy proves it. As much as Hyli doesn't care how he looks himself when sacrificing for his adc's sparcle and casters flame him, he IS the support goat of the LEC (inspite of what the drunk Keire figure says, whom I've never heard of before. Hyli made fun in lane and in tf of his favorite Labrov btw). If Hyli gets some good mid laner again like Caps or Nemesis at least you will see again what Hyli is capable of...
Yep its funny that even when hyli is "running it down".. his adc's are somehow the best in the league despite being average before.. i.e Carrzy on Vitality.. Upset on Shalke.. They join Hyli and become the best.. nice to see someone mention it for once
Why are we acting like BB's only series this MSI was the first series against T1 where he had Zac and 2 times Yasuo vs TF matchup? Didn't we witness the 2nd series where everything returnt to normal and Zeus literally fcked BB harder than a challenger would fck a diamond. Didn't we see 369 completely shit on him especially in game 2 yet it doesn't matter because Caps literally plays 10 times better than opposing mid laner and plays the lane 1 v 3 while still winning. This guy even with 2 kills ahead cannot lane even semi decently in any normal matchup. First T1 series we got lucky because it was 2 times Yasuo vs TF into some tank matchups. Then we saw what happened against Zeus when he tried to play counter carry matchups against normal top laners not named TF. The dude got utterly violated
Broxah Fnatic lineup is better than this G2 iteration. Because that iteration a player would never get celebrated for finally playing one good series and then returning to get omegafcked like BB .Any player ever over diamond who watch last year's BLG series or 2nd T1 series in this MSI would literally report the shit out of the guy for how fucking disgusting that performance was. I have never seen someone given so many resources with so many counter matchups continously solo lose his team the game just through pure laning in 5 minutes. I thought I would never see something more awful than BB's game 1 and game 3 against Bin. Ooh god I couldn't be so wrong after witnessing his performance against Rumble starting 2 kills ahead purely through his team/lane swaps
I understand your point but don't forget the gap has become bigger and the fact he was doing well on Zac and K'Sante is still good. He just needs to put more effort into improving on jax, Camille. The carry kind of top laners.
I don't mind ignoring the rest of LEC if it means G2 will keep getting better. But, as Keire said, they will have to learn how to peak as 5 when it matters. Additionally, they've no "old G2" magic to them, for example I never see them coming back from a deficit against an elite eastern team.
