Deidre at Our Upcycled Life uses two slats from an old shutter as "guides" for her rolling pin when rolling out clay, to make sure the clay is a uniform thickness - pretty neat trick

Hi Erin, love all your projects! Just a note, I have used transfers on outdoor pots and sealed them with several coats of outdoor sealer. They have held up beautifully through our cold and snowy winter in Erie, PA!

I've never seen anyone use a paint inlay the way you did on the book and it's so beautiful Erin ❤❤❤ On the top of a nightstand would you use PC Extreme Guard and if so what finish?

Thank you 😊 yep I’d seal with Extreme Guard top coat but as for the finish depends what the rest of the piece looks like. Satin is a my go to for most things.
