Jeff Avenue it’s okay! If you see the lyrics of the song it’s just amazing as their choreography and everything about them. And how they’re saying “thank you” isn’t just enough to say how thankful they are to their fans for standing by them :))

@@swirlberry01 wth.. teaching is different from monitoring..he is not a robot to check everyone's move while he is dancing too.. not even a pro choreographer can do both at time..the man from company just finalize hoshi's(also perf team) ideas and evaluates!! he contributes like 10/20% of the dance moves!! but hoshi does the majority...maybe he worked for some svt song's..but for the world/carat's hoshi is the choreo man behind their fierce stages! again saying teaching can be done while dancing but not monitoring?!! another person is needed monitor

    Sign Language Parts:
3:57 the motion they do with their hands is the sign language for “thanks”
6:32 the formation that they did from an upward view is suppose to look like “T H X”
9:48 at the end of the dance, they make a sign language with their hands which means “promise”

the sign language of thanks in korean also happened at 6:33 and fun fact, about the "gomapta" that they repeat 3 times.. and the formation for each gomapta is in a form of T, H and X which mean Thanks.. and also this song is about how they show their gratitude for their fans.. like how thankful they are when we accept them for who they are..and the scene from the video where they meet up for discussing about the song, the scene in recording room, the scene in the practice room and also the scene in makeup room.. all of that scenes shows how they work together to create a songs.. all of the scenes was the usual scene that happen between them..on how they creat their own song, create their own dance and everything...yeah thats all the rant from me😂😂 and thank you again for having seventeen💞💞 i cannot wait for more seventeen video in future😌😌 thank you so much again🥰🥰

This song was made for Carats to say thanks. In the MV showed that they’re writing music & producing it and putting makeup on. Also in the MV, there’s different choreography. They changed it bc someone told them that one of the moves looked like they going “Super Saiyan” so they changed it. They chose Jun to do the solo dance bc he looked cool the most doing it.
The part where DK says “Thank You” repeatedly they do the sign language for Thanks. Also at the end they do sign language for Promise. (Also u were right with the other sign language for promise).
They also do a formation which u can only see from aerial view when they make the formation that spells T-H-X. 😊

There are many amazing dancers in the K-Pop industry, but what makes me really proud of Seventeen is that they are BY FAR the group with the most lyrical choreography. My appreciation for the performance always increases tenfold after I understand what they sing and dance about. I think it is also a perk of being a self-producing group; I bet Hoshi starts "sketching" the choreography as soon as Woozi lets him hear a song's demo, instead of brainstorming from scratch with the choreography team.

Seventeen actually dedicated this song to carats. Woozi said that this song was actually supposed to be named something else, but after deliberation, they decided that ‘Thanks’ was enough. They wanted to express their pure and genuine thankfulness to carats for being by their side after all this time, and for supporting them. This song wasn’t just an ‘I love you’ it was a pure, unadulterated ‘Thank you’ You should seriously check out the lyrics, they’re really beautiful and so full of meaning, and they really hits carats’ hearts.

i love how happy he looks when he can point out which member is who while watching vidoes like thats such a whole mood when i was learning their names wait until he can recognize just their voices then its 100% carat
ALSO: This song is supposed to be about thanking the fans and those who've supported them on their journey to achieve what they have now and the video shows us what its like to be a part of SVT's creative process. It shows them writing lyrics, recording and arranging their music. From the rehearsal room and choreography making and when they finally person the makeup/backstage. Throughout the MV it shows them from the perspective of us looking from outside in then bringing us into the same area ("room") as them. overall great directing behind the entire MV

    Love seventeen because:
    - their music just hit me.. i think just seventeen in kpop group which make me not only love their title track but the whole album..and not only 1 album..but all album..that crazy right?
    - their lyric always so beautiful and meaningfull..not just lyric..but sometime like poetry for me
    - their choreo always lyrical and theatrical for their song...they always pay attention to small detail in their movement..they always use all angle..so i never bored with their performance..n they never stuck in one style of dance..love their hardwork..
    - 3 unit (vocal, performance, hiphop) that all of them so good in their field..but they can make a sub unit with anyone of them without being block or bounded from their real unit..they do cover each other just like whatever they want it..they just so free..and i like it..
    - they're 13 people but i never getting bored or disturbed with their number because they make it like one..sometimes i forget that they have so many member..
    - their variety skill and creativity in make a content (like going seventeen) always blow my mind
    - no hole in their visual..but that is not my first point to stand them
Seventeen is perfect group for me to stand...Love this group so much..
"Thanks" is my favorite song forever..

Next to "Don't Wanna Cry", the choreo to "Thanks" is my second favorite. Seventeen is a champion when it comes to routines with stories. I mean, they can do powerful, movement-heavy choreos like "Hit", " Getting Closer", "Call Call Call", etc., wherein they're really all about showcasing their dance prowess and their synchronization. But when it comes to songs like "Ulgo Sipji Anha" and "Komapta" or "Lilili Yabbay" (which, I think, deserves your dissection too), they're their to tell a story first and foremost.
By the way, when you said something like, "I hope this part is a bit more clean", that's totally acceptable. I like it when reactors really dish out their constructive opinions, if there really is to point out. It makes the whole reaction more fascinating to watch.

I watched other kpop groups before, and although each of them slay in their own ways, it was quite apparent how their synchronization and energy began to lessen as the concert goes, but seventeen blew my mind completely. Even at their last performance, everything was straight up perfection to the point where me and my mom both had our jaws on the floor

I'm so happy you're talking about Seungkwan more! It might not be very obvious in the music video or the dance practice, but he's also one of the best singers in Kpop (along with DK)!

    Just wake up this morning
Open my mobile data.. And then your notification pop out in my phone.. Directly watch after waking up..LOL😄😄
actually 'thanks' is one of the song song they write specially for their fans..cause that time they recieving so much love from carats(their fandom name) and they want to thank them through music.. I thinks that's one of the reason it's so emotional..
Me,myself when i first heard the song i feel their sincerity and almost cry...
specially when they are saying the worth 'kumapta'(meaning thanks).. I feel like it's worth all the effort to support them all these years.
    Proud Carat's here since Pre-debut(2015)
Fighting for your channel jeff... Love lots from the Phillippines😍😍😍

I always miss dancing when i watch SVT, i used to dance up until before college and after that i kind of lost it. My body movements became weird as a grow so i stopped. I transitioned from Hip-hop to Ballroom, and i acquired habits that feels weird when i'm dancing Hip-hop.

I don't know why but I felt so glad when you said you watched Knowing Bros with SVT. That ep is very nice. Maybe because I started checking them out after watching that. I was not really into Kpop new gen. Yes, I'm still a baby Carat😁

Fyi, thdy filmed the choreography in a theater while rehearsing for a series of concerts they used to have every year called caratland, which only carats who had the membership could attend. I believe this year they havent done them tho :C. So the first time they showed this song was in front of the carats who attended caratland and a few days after they had their comeback. So yeah, they first showed the song to carats to say thanks to them/us and then released it to the public 😊

Not very much related to Seventeen in particular but since I noticed that you like their formations and the images they create, I would recommend you to watch Stay Tonight by Chungha. It's very creative and I think you will enjoy it 💕 I really hope you notice this comment 🥺
