We've been 2 Caye Caulker 3 times & the 1st time 2014, sand fleas tore up my daughter's feet, so 2017, she remembered the repellant & everything was fine. I myself 1st went in 2013, so 2014, I brought my daughter & granddaughter w/ me, & we just went again Aug. 2017! Glad u had a great time, & all of the traveling I do, there's no place quite like Caye Caulker!

We're retired so we can go any time. would prefer to stay on the beach, not in middle of town. thanks so much! brenda hamilton

As soon as I saw your bites, I knew they were sand fleas. Here in Florida, on more remote beaches, there will be sand fleas.
    Belize looks really nice

For those of you concerned about the sand flea bites, you can get real Aloe Vera (the actual plant leaf) on the island, just ask a local, if you do happen to get bit up, rub Fresh Aloe Vera on the bites, it’s good for sunburn also, the bites will start clearing up almost immediately, you’ve got to lay it on good and cover all areas of feet and legs😬
I’ve been to Belize 10 times, the more frequently you visit, the sand flies bite less...
    Your Welcome😬

YAY THE VLOG IS LIVE!! Way to keep the camera steady while you're holding it... and filming in public! Two things I suck at ;)

Alexis: Loved your Vlog of Caye Cauker
With your Bo. Hope you both stay playful and helping each other to accomplish new things to keep growing. ? Sand fleas or Bed bugs?
I wonder which ones they really were.

Those are called SAND FLIES not sand fleas. Sand flies are VERY small, probably smaller than a gnat or fruit fly but the bite is harder than a mosquito. You had better buy a large can of insect spray or else.... Sand fleas are found in the sand if you dig close to the water. They're good for fishing for Permit, Jacks or Snapper. Belizean checking in! ;- )

If a tourist wants to extend his visa for more than one month , does he has to show hotel booking for every month to immigration office

Hi nice video. Been there twice. Lots has changed. It is pronounced Key Caulker, not Cay. I know that is how it looks but for some reason they pronounce it Key.
