This is not repairing... it's a restoration in the most beautiful sense of the word. The attention to detail, time, wise use of tools, the knowledge of different tricks of the trade... it's just admirable. Incredible work ethics, on top of everything, focusing on details that most people wouldn't see. A PLEASURE to watch. My utmost respect from Argentina.
Did one like that today. Stretched the room also with a crab and a dreaded knee kicker. Now I’m watching you. I might be obsessed with carpet repair. However, I think you are better than myself. You have better tools. Your work is excellent.
My dog made a mess just like you started with where tile and carpet meet. He decided to shred the carpet when he was a puppy. Now I have a throw rug over it. lol Your's looks so good! I was thinking how great your work is. You must take great pride in your work. Most of that is lost in the generation now working.
This is so good. I would pay to get some hands on training to learn how to do this. I live up in Washington if you offer training I would love to know more. Great videos.
Kinda like this format but maybe talk during editing? This is really interesting to see and learn about. Especially for geeks like me who like truck mounted carpet cleaning rigs. Like how often do these calls come in? Or do people usually call the carpet people first? So many questions.
I priced these hand tools yesterday and every one of them is in the twenty-dollar range - or +. Mostly +. You just about have to be serious into carpet repair for the investment. And that Kool aid tape heater $500 to get started. That's the cats meow far as I see.
I bought a new build house , my carpet on the new built is low quality and the guy who installed it did a bad job. I wish you would’ve installed my carpet lol

Surprisingly relaxing watching this repair
Bravo 👏🏻 I think this is so cool also satisfying to watch.
Cool video! Is that some kind of stone or soap you are rubbing on the seam?
Pumice rock 👍🏼
How do you get into this profession? I'd love to hear your experience and learning path.

@@carpetguy thanks so much Josh. Was looking around on the channel and couldn't find a title on the subject.

Can you complain? Have you communicated you’re unhappy?
Yes I did but the builder acting dum . But am still filing a report .
Love some Adidas shoes
I can still see the line of the repair. I’m assuming over time it will disappear as the carpet gets traffic.
Time certainly helps. There’s a limit to artificially wearing like I do, depending on type of carpet.
It'll never be perfect... but it's pretty damn near that!
Carpet repairs the bottom end of the flooring industry, that's got to suck
