It definitely works on dark hair. The red is slightly purple ish in dark hair but overall it does show up depending on how much color you apply. Super easy to wash out too. Once it dry you will want to brush it. Red and blue in the hair as streaks also looks pretty cute/cool. The first time you could be slightly timid to use it so color won’t show as much after the first time you’re less terrified and your hair remains fine. :)

I think you added the wax on too much wet hair..your hair was perfect befor applying water. Also you applied curl lotion, anti frizz lotion..which can compromise the color. This wax should be applied on natural hair..

The gray is actually gray. Looks good and my hair is your color. Some are putting this on with dry hair. I get mine on eBay
