In esotericism or something like that "333" is a number that represents "the abyss", which in turn represents being stuck in a cycle of "going through things". I find it really quite fitting
The last easter egg (changing the clock to 3:33 --> sky turning red, demons walking around) is a reference to one of Joel G's previous works/universe, Deadline and The Gift!

As for the email problem your dealing with you have to look in the inbox of your email address you used to sign up with and see if there is a email from the JoelG website. it could be in spam or promotions but if you do come across it make sure you verify and if it says it’s expired just hit the resend button and verify with the new email it just sent you. If all else fails contact @TanyaHastu on Twitter the dev of the website.

Check your time on your devices to make sure there isn't a mistake.

they disabled the automatic email sending for verifications, they're fixing something, and when its fixed you will have the ability to verify it again
