Hope you are enjoying the vacation. Ya.... fuel prices. Just put 17.9 in the plane at $7.89 a gal. It's painful. Thanks for sharing and beautiful views of Michigan. Hope to get out that way in the next couple years. Clear sky's and tail winds!

Thanks man! 7.89! Ouch. That one hurt. 6.40 is the most I’ve paid so far. Insane.

Just found your videos and want to say how much I am enjoying them. I owned a Tri-Pacer many years ago. Where's part 2 ?

Love the flight David. Gas is spring for sure. I paid $6.19 @ W78 yesterday. About 9 gal or so. Around $60. Nonetheless I go some to keep the plane active and my flight logs.

People head North in the summer to escape humidity for the most part

What a nice flight with some beautiful views! I'm really glad to see that you are doing ok David. I totally understand exactly what you're saying about aviation fuel prices right now and I hope you are still able to at least fly a little bit regardless. As always thanks for taking the time to bring us along with you and I'll see you in the next video.

Glad to see your back David. I totally understand where your coming from on the fuel prices! That is some beautiful scenery up there but the humidity has got to be killer high in the warmer months.

Thanks Scott! I’m not sure but I think the breeze that comes off the lake helps keep things manageable. I sure wouldn’t want to spend winter here!

David, I am flying a 1951 Tri Pacer out of the Allentown PA area. Is there a way we can connect so I can learn what you have done to your plane?

Wondering why you don`t use the shoulder harness ?

I should but I can’t reach the flaps when I have the shoulder harness on.
